(Minghui.org) Ms. Zou Jie from Jilin Province was released from the Ji'an Detention Center on September 6, 2015. She was detained for suing Jiang Zemin, the former head of the Chinese Communist regime.

She was held in the Tonghua Detention Center for 13 days and then transferred to the Jian Detention Center for another 17 days.

Ms. Zou Jie went to the Taiwang Post Office on the morning of August 3, 2015 and mailed her criminal complaints against Jiang Zemin via Express Mail. She received a call from the post office around 1 p.m. and was told that her mail could not be transmitted because of an Internet problem. She realized then that her mail was probably intercepted. She tried to clarify the truth to the staff in the post office over the phone.

Three police officers from the Tuanjie Police Station showed up at her home around 7 a.m. on August 7, and one was armed with an electric baton. They demanded that she come to the police station; however, she asked to peacefully discuss the matter instead.

Although they listened to her, they still insisted that she cooperate with them. When she refused, they called the domestic security division.

More officers arrived and surrounded the building where she lives. One officer came into her home and said he was Zhang Qing, the deputy of the Ji'an Police Department. Actually, he was Song Guoxiang, head of the Jian City 610 Office. He ordered the arrest of Ms. Zou.

Taken to the Tonghua Detention Center

Ms. Zou talked to the police about Falun Gong as soon as she arrived in the Tuanjie Police Station. One of the female officers cried after she listened to Ms. Zou's story.

During the interrogation, Ms. Zou signed the interrogation record with the words, “Request to be released immediately.”

The head of the police station told her that they would take her to the Tonghua Detention Center. They refused her request to go home for some clothes.

The official arrest notice was handed to her on August 12. A staff member from the Ji'an City Procuratorate talked to her for 5 minutes on August 15.

After she was detained in the Tonghua Detention Center for 13 days, police from the Tuanjie Police Station transferred her to the Ji'an Detention Center on August 20.

She received the official 15-day detention notice from the Ji'an City Police Department on August 21. She refused to sign the notice.
