(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 11 cities or counties in 6 provinces. According to this report, 11 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 25 were illegally arrested, detained and tried, the whereabouts of 1 is unknown, and 14 practitioners were detained for suing Jiang Zemin.

1. [Jinhua City, Zhejiang Province] Mr. Qian Endi and Mr. Zhu Zuoliang Sentenced to Prison
Mr. Qian Endi was recently sentenced to four years in prison, and taken to Zhejiang Province Prison.
Mr. Zhu Zuoliang was sentenced to four-and-a-half years in prison, and has appealed the sentence.
2. [Gaomi City, Shandong Province] Six Practitioners Sentenced to Prison
Mr. Shan Yicheng, Mr. Du Qihai, Mr. Liu Wenming, and Ms. Jing Xiuling from Gaomi City, and Mr. Zhang Menglei and Ms. Chen Guangxia from Qingdao City, were arrested by officers from the Gaomi City 610 Office and the Domestic Security Division on April 4, 2014. They are being detained in Gaomi Detention Center.
Mr. Shan Yicheng was recently sentenced to a seven-year prison term, and Ms. Chen Guangxia to four years, which were suspended for five years.
Mr. Du Qihai, Mr. Liu Wenming, Ms. Jing Xiuling, and Mr. Zhang Menglei were each sentenced to three years in prison.
The prison terms of Ms. Chen Guangxia, Mr. Zhang Menglei, and Ms. Jing Xiuling were each reduced by half a year after they appealed the sentences. The three practitioners will be transferred to the Jinan Prison on October 8, 2015.
3. [Zhaoyuan City, Shandong Province] Ms. Lu Mei'e Arrested and Ms. Wang Kai Arrested--Her Whereabouts Unknown
Officers from the Zhaoyuan City Criminal Police Division and the Domestic Security Division broke into Ms. Lu Mei'e's home in Xinbei Village, Xiadian Town, and ransacked it on August 28, 2015. They confiscated a computer and a printer.
Ms. Lu and Ms. Wang Kai were arrested and taken to the Xiadian Town Police Station for interrogation. Ms. Lu was released that evening. Ms. Wang's whereabouts are unknown.
4. [Jiyuan City, Henan Province] Ms. Li Furong and Ms. Yan Xia Detained
Ms. Li Furong and Ms. Yan Xia, from Wulongkou Town, Jiyuan City, were arrested on September 24, 2015, by officers from the Wulongkou Town Police Station, for telling people about Falun Gong in Xizheng Village. The officers ransacked their homes and confiscated a computer, two printers, Falun Gong books, photos of the founder of Falun Gong, and copies of newspaper and journal editions of Minghui Weekly. Both practitioners are being detained in the city detention center.
5. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Xu Fengling Detained
Officers from the Changtong Road Police Station in Nanguan District, arrested Ms. Xu Fengling and ransacked her home on September 30, 2015. She was held in Weizigou Detention Center for ten days.
6. [Lishu County, Jilin Province] Ms. Wang Binghua and Mother Arrested
Ms. Wang Binghua and her mother from Zujiazi Town were arrested on September 30, 2015.
7. [Beijing] Home Ransacked, An Elderly Couple and Their Non-Practitioner Daughter Arrested
Officers from the Kejiyuan Police Station arrested Ms. Li Bixian for talking to people about Falun Gong on August 17, 2015. They held her in custody overnight and took her home the next morning to ransack her home.
Ms. Li's husband, 74-year-old Mr. Cai Yuanshou, tried to stop the police from confiscating Falun Gong books and a photo of the founder of Falun Gong. The police claimed that he beat police officers and obstructed the police from performing their duties.
When the police attempted to take the couple away, the couple's daughter tried to stop the police. The police also claimed she was obstructing them.
The police finally took three of them to the police station and held them for 24 hours. The next day, the three were taken to Fengtai District Detention Center. Officials there refused to admit the couple due to poor health. The couple was released on bail, but their daughter was detained for 30 days.
Local police are harassing the elderly couple at home and monitoring them.
8. [Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Yu Guimin and Ms. Yang Xiuhua Tortured in Detention and Facing Trial
Ms. Yu Guimin and Ms. Yang Xiuhua have been detained since they were arrested on May 1, 2015 for talking about Falun Gong.
Ms. Yu was beaten and put in heavy shackles and handcuffs. Guards ordered inmates to beat Ms. Yang. As a result, her face became swollen and she can no longer close her mouth.
Both are facing trial.
9. [Fushun City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Hu Guojian Tried
Mr. Hu Guojian was arrested for distributing Falun Gong informational materials on July 7, 2015. He was taken to the Fushun City No. 1 Detention Center the next day and has not been released.
Dongzhou District Court tried him on the morning of September 25. His lawyer Mr. Wang Yajun entered a not-guilty plea and demanded that he be acquitted.
10. [Chongqing] Ms. Yu Mingfang Mistreated in Mental Hospital
Officers from the Dashiba Police Station, along with local community personnel, took 65-year-old Ms. Yu Mingfang to the Chongqing Mental Hospital in February 2015. Ms. Yu was forced to take psychiatric drugs daily, and her health has deteriorated significantly. Her limbs no longer have strength and her mental state is very poor.
11. [Yuzhou City, Henan Province] 14 Practitioners Detained for Suing Jiang Zemin
Fourteen practitioners were detained for 10 to 15 days between September 21 and September 26, 2015, after they filed criminal complaints against former Chinese dictator Jiang Zemin, who launched and directed the persecution of Falun Gong. The police claimed that the order was from “above.”
The practitioners included Li Xiaoka, Ji Chou and his son Wang Xiaopei, Wang Xuexia, Wu Huizhen, Yang Meng, Qu Yuemei, Tian Dianli, Li Chou, Yin Quanting, Wu Zhenni, Sang Zhenjing, Li Xuezhen, and Ji Xiang.
