(Minghui.org) Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Zhu Musong filed criminal complaints against Jiang Zemin for the persecution he suffered. The news about his complaint was published on the Minghui website on August 7, 2015.

When Mr. Zhu left his home on September 22, 2015, he was arrested by Zhang Dongwu, a deputy division head, and over a dozen police officers from the Lou District Domestic Security Division from Yueyang City, who waited outside his building.

The police beat him during the arrest, which resulted in a broken hand left hand and injured right ear. The police also ransacked his home and confiscated several USB drives, Falun Gong books, a portrait of the founder of Falun Gong, a speaker, an MP5 player, a desktop computer, and a monitor.

While in custody, he was asked if he had sued Jiang Zemin, which he affirmed. He was also demanded to identify who wrote his complaint. He responded that he prepared the complaint himself.

Mr. Zhu was held until the afternoon of the next day. The officers saw that he was still sick and released him.

Zhang Dongwu threatened Mr. Zhu before he left. “Don't expose my name on the Internet,” he said. “Otherwise, I will arrest you again.”

Past Arrests and Detentions

Mr. Zhu has been imprisoned in a labor camp twice, where he was tortured. In the Xinhaipu Labor Camp he was given food that contained a white powder. After eating the food he developed abnormal symptoms. He was released on medical parole when he was on the verge of death.

Doctors at a hospital found problems with all of his internal organs. He had also contracted bone tuberculosis, brain tuberculosis, joint tuberculosis, and other illnesses. He passed out in the hospital several times. The bills for this medical care came to over 40,000 yuan, yet he still had medical problems at the time of this latest arrest.

Background

In 1999 Jiang Zemin, then head of the CCP, overrode other Politburo standing committee members and launched the violent suppression of Falun Gong.

The persecution has killed countless Falun Gong practitioners during the past 16 years. Many have been murdered for their organs. Others have been imprisoned and tortured for their belief. Jiang Zemin is directly responsible for the inception and continuation of this brutal persecution.

Under Jiang's direction, the CCP established an extralegal security force, the 610 Office, on June 10, 1999. This organization overrides the police and judicial system. The 610 Office carries out Jiang's directive to eradicate Falun Gong: ruin practitioners' reputations, cut off their financial resources, and destroy them physically.

Jiang stepped down as head of the CCP in 2002, but he has exerted much power from the shadows through a network of officials he put in place.

Chinese law now allows citizens to be plaintiffs in criminal cases, and many practitioners are exercising that right to file criminal complaints against the former dictator.
