(Minghui.org) Computers are practitioners' Fa tools to access the Minghui website, read sharing articles, or download truth clarification materials about Falun Dafa. However, if we use them to browse everyday people's websites and become addicted to watching movies and such, then the computer may become a demon that pollutes our bodies and dimensions. As such, we waste our precious time when we should be doing the three things and awakening people.
I'd like to share my painful lesson to warn fellow practitioners:
For some time, I was addicted to everyday people's websites. I wasted a lot of time browsing these sites and watching an online TV series. I seldom did the three things during this time, and I began to feel polluted by the dirty and low information on those sites.
I soon had difficulty focusing or thinking clearly, and I often felt depressed. It was not until I had a very vivid nightmare that I enlightened to what was happening.
In the nightmare I was trapped in a small room, and I saw a man-shaped monster lunge at me. I was frightened and tried to hide. People surrounded me and tried desperately to stop the rampaging monster in order to protect me, but they could not block it.
While the group of people were trying to fight it off, someone suddenly unplugged a cord behind the monster that was connected to an electrical outlet, and instantly the monster stopped moving. The monster turned out to be a robot made in the shape of a human. I woke up in a fright.
I suddenly realized: Couldn't the thing in my dream be a computer's image in other dimensions? When I turn on the power to browse everyday people's sites, the computer sends dirty, low information into my body because I have asked for it.
When I unplug the power, the computer stops. So, if we do not use the computer in an upright manner and instead indulge in everyday people's things, the computer will turn into a demon in other dimensions that destroys our diligent willpower. I am so grateful for Master's hint but also feel unworthy of Master's compassionate salvation.
If we only use the computer to access the Minghui website, or to produce and print informational materials, then the computer is a Fa implement used to awaken people. I am sharing my painful lesson to expose my attachments and alert fellow practitioners.
Let us encourage one another and strive forward diligently. Let us cherish this limited time to awaken sentient beings!
