(Minghui.org) Having both suffered from a herniated disc, a couple from Ningxia Province was grateful that Falun Gong cured them. It was then natural for them to share their miraculous experience and tell everyone that the Chinese Communist Party's persecution of the practice is plain wrong.
However, their simple act landed them in police custody. While visiting their son in Xinjiang Province, Ms. Hu Julian (胡菊莲) and her husband Mr. Wang Fugui (王富贵) were arrested for giving out paper bills with information about Falun Gong printed on them.
Because normal appeal channels are taken from Falun Gong practitioners, they use creative ways to let people know why the CCP is persecuting such a self-cultivation practice that has transformed many people's lives and causes no harm to society. Ms. Hu and Mr. Wang's use of currency with information about the persecution is one such method.
Police didn't stop at arresting the couple and confiscating their bank cards, cash, mobile phones, and ID's. They went after the couple's son, who had also done nothing wrong. The police froze his bank account and took away his ID card.
Wife's Slipped Disc Disappears in Three Days
Ms. Hu's brother was the first person in her family to practice Falun Gong. The regime's lies about Falun Gong made her and her family not understand her brother and were initially resistant to the practice.
Her attitude changed when she developed a severely herniated disc in 2010. She sought treatment everywhere, but got no relief. Her problem worsened until she was semi-paralyzed and completely unable to care for herself. At her lowest point, Ms. Hu could not stand or even turn herself in bed.
Her condition improved slightly in January 2011, so Ms. Hu put together all her savings and prepared to travel to Ningxia's capital in hopes of receiving treatment through surgery.

She listened, and then read the information and watched the video—and her attitude about Falun Gong changed. She no longer resisted its message. Ms. Hu opened herself up to it and began to like what she was learning about Falun Gong.
As her attitude changed, Ms. Hu's herniated disc gradually improved and totally disappeared in three days. She was able to move as freely as she used to.
Seeing Ms. Hu's miracle cure, her family began to appreciate and support Falun Gong. Her mother and two sisters later took up the practice.
When Ms. Hu came home, her neighbors and friends couldn't believe what they saw before them. Here was a person who couldn't do anything when she left home, and returned capable of doing everything. They asked about her miracle cure. She told them the reason was Falun Gong. Many people now had a new understanding of Falun Gong. Some even started practicing themselves.
Husband's Slipped Disc Cured with an Added Bonus
Ms. Hu's husband also had a herniated disc, although not as severe as his wife's. Seeing the big change in her, he joined her in practicing Falun Gong. With this, his disc healed. He became stronger, his face radiated health, and his wrinkles faded. He was able to take on more strenuous work.
Mr. Wang had smoked, drank alcohol, and gambled for decades. No one expected him to ever change. When he began to practice Falun Gong, he quit smoking, drinking, and gambling for good. People who know him say that he has changed into a different, good-tempered person.
