(Minghui.org) I am an old farmer from Kaijiang County, Sichuan Province. I was diagnosed with terminal lung cancer in July 2013. Doctors I saw at the provincial, city, and county hospitals all said that I had less than six months to live.
I spent a lot of money being hospitalized for treatment. Even the slightest cough or movement was enough to cause me to cough up blood. Then, my money nearly gone, I went home to die.

My daughter-in-law's parents told me to recite, “Falun Dafa is good! Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good!” I followed their suggestion and recited it every day. I noticed some improvements--I was able to eat and no longer coughed up blood.
However, when my children came home during the 2014 Chinese New Year and saw my condition, they insisted that I go to the hospital. They took turns taking care of me at the hospital, but my symptoms got worse every day. The medical technology seemed to be very advanced, but the reality of it was that they could not cure me. Once again, I decided to go home.
My sons and daughters went back to work after the holidays. My daughter-in-law's parents brought me an MP3 audio player, so I could listen to the Falun Dafa lectures. I listened to them every day.
I have now survived more than 11 months longer than the doctors predicted. I feel good, take care of my grandchildren, and even help with household chores.
Opportunities
In November 2013, another resident in my village was diagnosed with the same thing--terminal lung cancer. I encouraged him to recite, “Falun Dafa is good! Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good!” His family was upset. “You don't believe in science!” they said. “How on earth can you believe in such a superstitious thing?”
His family is wealthy, and he was hospitalized for medical treatment. They spent several hundred thousand yuan over eight months. He suffered a lot of pain and died in July 2014.
I thanked my daughter-in-law's parents for my improvement, but they said I should instead thank Mr. Li Hongzhi, the teacher of Falun Dafa.
