(Minghui.org) Mr. Song Guanghua's (宋广华) three-year prison term ended on December 30, 2014. Minghui.org has received information that Daqing Prison authorities plan to send him to a brainwashing center on the day of his release.
Heilongjiang 610 Office agents seized Mr. Song, a Falun Dafa practitioner, on December 31, 2011, and had him sentenced to three years in prison sentence for practicing Falun Dafa. During that time, he was beaten in solitary confinement.
Prior Ordeals
Prior to his latest arrest, Mr. Song was incarcerated in Changlinzi Forced Labor Camp from 2003 to 2006. He was frequently tortured during this time.
Mr. Song was picked up by security guards at his workplace and taken to the Xinyi Police Station in Harbin on August 26, 2003, for handing out Falun Dafa information to his coworkers at the Longjiang Electric Plant.
By the end of September, Mr. Song was in the labor camp. Guard Zhao Shuang (赵爽) beat him the day he arrived.
One day Mr. Song was reading a Falun Dafa book, and inmate Qi Kunlei (齐昆雷) reported him to the guards. Zhao held Mr. Song face down on the ground and straddled him. Zhao pulled Mr. Song's arms up and pushed them toward his back. This put extreme strain on Mr. Song's shoulders. He then did the same to Mr. Song's legs. After the beating, Mr. Song was unable to move and had to be carried back to his cell. Zhao called his technique “rowing a boat” and often used it on practitioners.
Torture reenactment: “Rowing a Boat.” The person is held on the ground face down. The perpetrators bend the victim's arms and legs up and push and pull them with great force, severely straining the shoulders and hips.
Blood Draw
In the spring of 2005, Yang Yu (杨禹) and the staff at Changlinzi brought in several men to draw blood from Falun Dafa practitioners. When Mr. Song refused to submit to a blood draw, Zhao and Yang tortured Mr. Song with “rowing a boat.” Guard Wang Kai (王凯) shocked Mr. Song's face with an electric baton for about 10 minutes. Another guard, Dou Jianwen (窦建文), then shocked Mr. Song on his chest.
In 2006, after Mr. Song served three years, officers from the Xinyi Police Station and staff members from his local community office went to Changlinzi to pick him up. They tried to coerce him to sign a statement renouncing Falun Dafa. Mr. Song refused.
