(Minghui.org) While Ms. Jin Changlin was preparing dinner on December 2, 2014, she heard someone shouting and knocking at her door. Opening it, she found three police officers and her neighborhood committee's Communist Party Secretary, who had been harassing her because she practices Falun Gong.

The officers told her to go with them to the police station, but she refused. She said, “I was working hard all day at my job. Now I am doing housework. I have been a good person and live by the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. Why do you keep harassing me? Who ordered you to do this? What you are doing is against the law.”

Home Ransacked

Nine more officers arrived and ransacked her home, with an officer video recording the whole process. Police ignored her family's pleas to stop and Ms. Jin's request for identification and a search warrant.

She said, “Who gave you the right to ransack my home?” Two officers pushed her to the ground, cuffed her hands behind her back, and carried her out to a police car.

Resisting Interrogation

Ms. Jin was interrogated upon arrival at Xuguanxinqu Police Station. She told officers how she benefited from practicing Falun Gong. While she talked, a plainclothes officer slapped and kicked her. He showed her an electric baton and threatened, “If you keep talking, you'll be shocked until you die!”

Ms. Jin replied, “Is this how you treat a 50-year-old woman from the countryside? You don't know what is right and what is wrong. I pity you! What you are doing is shameful. You are committing a crime!”

The officer on duty told Ms. Jin to sign the interrogation papers, which she refused. Several policemen surrounded her and tried to take her fingerprints, which she also resisted. She said, “You are paid by taxpayers. I need to go back to work tomorrow. I need to go home to rest.”

After being interrogated until 4 a.m. the next morning, Ms. Jin was released.

Prior Arrests and Brainwashing

This is Ms. Jin's fourth arrest. In July 2010, she was detained for 15 days and taken directly to a brainwashing center, where authorities tried to force her to give up her beliefs.

She was arrested at home in 2011 and taken to the No. 1 Detention Center in Suzhou City. After a month, she was transferred to a brainwashing center.

Ms. Jin was arrested on March 6, 2013 for telling the public about the persecution of Falun Gong. She was detained, transferred to a brainwashing center, and released on April 10, 2013.
