(Minghui.org) Local police departments, 610 Offices, and police stations orchestrated raids in Lianyungang, Jiangsu Province, and arrested scores of Falun Gong practitioners on September 17, 2014.
The arrests took place at homes and workplaces. The police ransacked many homes and confiscated practitioners' computers, printers, and Falun Gong books and materials.
Mr. Wang Zemin (王泽明) was seized at work and taken to the Lianyungang Detention Center for 15 days. The police ransacked his home that afternoon. His wife, Ms. Cheng Xiuli (成秀丽), was also arrested and was detained for ten days.
Other known arrested practitioners include: Zheng Jun (郑君), Xu Longbiao (徐龙彪), Xia Zhengyan (夏正艳), Wang Sumei (王素梅), Lu Shanming (陆善明), Sun Li (孙丽), Du Xiuju (杜秀菊), and a 72-year-old practitioner.
