Additional Persecution News from China – September 11, 2014 (15 Reports)

(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 13 cities or counties in 8 provinces. According to this report, 16 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 11 practitioners were illegally arrested.

Mr. Ma Jianjun was arrested on his way home by officers from the Jinshanlu Police Station on the evening of September 4, 2014.

2. [Urumqi City, Xinjiang Province] Ms. Cui Xinfeng Detained

Ms. Cui Xinfeng was arrested at home by officers from the Yangzijianglu Police Station on September 3, 2014. She is being held at the Liudaowan No. 3 Detention Center.

3. [Qianguo County, Jilin Province] Six Practitioners Sentenced

Mr. Sun Peng, Mr. Cui Hongwen, Mr. Wang Yue, Mr. Li Yinghui, Mr. Liu Yuliang, and Mr. Li Chengwen were tried in the Qianguo County Court in May 2014. They were sentenced to from three to ten years in prison in late July. They have appealed their sentences.

Ms. Zhang Qihua, in her 30s, was arrested by officers from the Huayang Police Station on September 9, 2014, for talking to people and distributing informational materials about the persecution of Falun Gong. Her whereabouts is unknown.

Ms. Tian Weimei and Ms. Liu Caiqin were arrested by officers from the Zhennan Police Station of the Jianchang County Domestic Security Division in Huludao City on September 10, 2014. Ms. Liu is being held at a brainwashing center.

Ms. Wang, Ms. Zhou, and Ms. Lu were arrested on September 8, 2014, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong.

8. [Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Yang Chunhong Detained

Ms. Yang Chunhong was arrested by officers from the Longxin Police Station in Nanlian Village on July 25, 2014. She is being held at the Longgang District Detention Center.

9. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Xia Yuanxin Arrested

Mr. Xia Yuanxin was arrested, and taken to the Intensive Training Division of the Nanguanling Prison on August 26, 2014.

10. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Wang Renguo Sentenced

Mr. Wang Renguo, a former teacher at Dalian Tax College, was sentenced to a three-year prison term in Shahekou District Court.

11. [Shanghai] Ms. He Pinqin Detained

Ms. He Pinqin was arrested by officers from the Bijiang Police Station on the morning of September 10, 2014. She is still being held there.

12. [Tianjin] Ms. Miao Fengling and Ms. Chen Ruixue Sentenced

Ms. Miao Fengling and Ms. Chen Ruixue were put on trial in the Hebei Court on August 29, 2014. Ms. Miao was sentenced to a four-year prison term and transferred to the Pujihedao Detention Center. Ms. Chen's sentence is unknown. She is being held at the Railway Department Detention Center.

Ms. Zhang Juying and Ms. Zhao were arrested at Ms. Zhao's home by plainclothes officers on the morning of April 21, 2014. Ms. Zhang was held at the Beijinglu Police Station in Guiyang City before being transferred to the Lannigou Brainwashing Center. Ms. Zhang and Ms. Zhao were released on August 11, 2014.

14. [Shulan City, Jilin Province] Mr. Han Fu Arrested

Mr. Han Fu was arrested by officers from the Liangshan Town Police Station on the evening of September 9, 2014. His laptop computer and two printers were confiscated.

15. [Dongying City, Shandong Province] Mr. Fan Zhiyong and Ms. Zhang Beibei Sentenced

Mr. Fan Zhiyong was sentenced to five years in prison, and Ms. Zhang Beibei to three years on September 2, 2014.
