Additional Persecution News from China – September 3, 2014 (7 Reports)

(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 7 cities or counties in 7 provinces. According to this report, 5 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 11 practitioners were illegally arrested.

1. [Yichun City, Jiangxi Province] Mr. Chen Shanshu Detained
2. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Yan Hongmei Detained
3. [Ren County, Hebei Province] Ms. Huo Guilan Taken to Brainwashing Center
4. [Zhumadian City, Henan Province] Ms. Gao Changyun Detained
5. [Tonghua City, Jilin Province] Seven Practitioners Arrested
6. [Nanping City, Fujian Province] Ms. Hu Aijiao and Ms. Chen Ximei Arrested
7. [Kangping County, Liaoning Province] Ms. Feng Xili and Two Other Practitioners Arrested

1. [Yichun City, Jiangxi Province] Mr. Chen Shanshu Detained

Mr. Chen Shanshu was arrested on the afternoon of August 29, 2014. The police searched his home and confiscated Falun Dafa books and other personal belongings. He is currently in a detention center.

2. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Yan Hongmei Detained

Ms. Yan Hongmei, an art teacher at the Tianhui No. 2 Experimental Elementary School, talked to her students about Falun Gong in class, after which a student's parent reported her to the police. Officers from the Tianhui Town Police Station arrested her at her home on August 4, 2014. She is being held in the Pi County Detention Center.

3. [Ren County, Hebei Province] Ms. Huo Guilan Taken to Brainwashing Center

Ms. Huo Guilan had previously been illegally sentenced to nine years in prison. One year after her release, she was arrested again and taken to the Xingtai Brainwashing Center.

4. [Zhumadian City, Henan Province] Ms. Gao Changyun Detained

Ms. Gao Changyun was arrested on August 15, 2014. She is being held in the Zhumadian City Detention Center.

5. [Tonghua City, Jilin Province] Seven Practitioners Arrested

Mr. Yang Benlin, Mr. Pang Zengde, Ms. Zhao Lihua, Mr. Pang Lin, Ms. Zhang Shuhua, Mr. Du Guolin, and Ms. Li Xiuhong were arrested by the police.

Ms. Hu Aijiao and Ms. Chen Ximei were arrested on the afternoon of September 3, 2014.

7. [Kangping County, Liaoning Province] Ms. Feng Xili and Two Other Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Feng Xili, Ms. Gao Genying, and Ms. Jia Shukun, from Haizhou Township, were arrested by officers from the Haizhou Township Police Station. The officers confiscated Ms. Jia's notebook computer and printer. Ms. Feng has since been released. Ms. Jia and Ms. Gao were taken to the Shenyang City Detention Center.
