(Minghui.org) One of my relatives, like myself a Falun Dafa practitioner, was sentenced to a long prison term and is now in a prison in another city. I went to visit him for the first time, but was not able to see him because I forgot to bring my identification card.
I made an appointment to visit him last year with my daughter. For some reason my daughter could not get train tickets.
After I sent righteous thoughts, I realized that it is the right thing to do to visit a Dafa practitioner in prison. We have a pure energy field and should dissolve anything not righteous wherever we go, especially in places such as prisons. Interference was the reason that we could not get tickets.
Master said:
“Whenever there is interference of one kind or another in qigong practice, you should look for reasons within yourself and determine what you still have not let go.” (Zhuan Falun)
Dissolving Interference
Because there was interference both times when I wanted to visit, I had to look within. I suddenly realized that I was afraid of being persecuted and that I was relying on my daughter who was busy. I only thought of what I needed, and that was selfish.
After I recognized these two attachments, I sent righteous thoughts to dissolve them. I bought tickets for both of us despite some minor problems.
Master said, “Neither heaven nor earth can block my road of Fa-rectification But disciples' human hearts can.” (“Troubles” in Hong Yin III)
Talking to People about Falun Gong on the Train
The train trip took 11 hours. This was a great opportunity to speak to people about Falun Dafa. We used two phones to send text messages and then started to use the recording to make truth clarifying phone calls.
There were many passengers. I thought they were all there to hear the facts about Falun Dafa. One lady asked my age and I told her that I was 49. She asked why I looked so young. I told her that this was because I practiced Falun Dafa. She asked, “Doesn't the government forbid people from practicing Falun Gong?”
I told her that Falun Dafa is practiced in over 100 countries and that it is only banned in China. I explained that Falun Dafa practitioners live by the universal principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance and that the former head of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), Jiang Zemin, launched the persecution out of jealousy, afraid that his power was threatened. I cleared up the self-immolation hoax. I said a great deal more, and almost everyone nearby listened.
I finally spoke about quitting the CCP and its affiliated organizations. I said, “Be clear that if you want to quit, please talk to me.” Almost everyone wrote their names down and a few said that they had already quit.
One of the passengers had given up Falun Dafa due to the persecution. She said, “I was truly happy after hearing what you said. I will look for other practitioners on my return home and practice again. I know Falun Dafa is good.”
Arriving at the Prison
On arriving at the prison, I sent righteous thoughts to clear the environment so we could visit our fellow practitioner. We got to see him without a problem. Two guards who were monitoring us stopped us when we started to share experiences based on the Fa. While my daughter talked, I sent righteous thoughts because I wanted the guards to leave. They left and we could talk more freely.
I talked to my relative, who pointed to the clock, showing there were only five minutes left to visit. I said, “Do not mention it. We have not finished yet.” As we were talking, it started to pour, and there was thunder and lightning. I said, “Heaven is helping us so that we can have some extra time together.” In tears he said, “Master showed me a miracle.” I said, “Let us believe in Master and the Fa. Everything is determined by Master.”
We talked for 40 minutes before the guard returned and said, “You are so lucky. This is the first time anyone has visited that long.” My relative and I both smiled and thanked Master for the miracle when we least expected it.
I understand that if we do everything according to Master's requirement and let go of attachments, the miracle and beauty of Falun Dafa will be demonstrated right in front of us. I will treasure every opportunity to do everything well and fulfill my vow.
