(Minghui.org) Ms. Sun Shujie, a Falun Gong practitioner in Shuangyashan City, Heilongjiang Province, was illegally arrested on June 4, 2014, by officers from the Yonghong Police Station. Psychological persecution is a major part of the CCP's persecution of Falun Gong. According to incomplete statistics from the Minghui website, thousands of practitioners have been sent to mental hospitals, and tens of thousands have been injected with harmful drugs. Several hundred practitioners have experienced mental collapses due to the persecution. Practitioners have suffered all kinds of persecution, including torture, administration of harmful drugs, sexual abuse, etc.
To cover up their crimes, the CCP agents often claim it's Falun Gong that causes these victims to have mental breakdowns. These false accusations place practitioners and their families under enormous pressure, and subjects them to humiliation from all aspects of society.

In attempts to force practitioners to give up their beliefs, more than 100 torture methods have been used on them, including electric shock, beating, tiger bench torture, etc. Many practitioners have lost their lives due to being brutal torture. Some were disabled, and some had mental collapses.

She constantly waved her arms in the air as if she were running. She sometimes didn't sleep at all, or for only about two hours.
She quickly lost her memory and didn't even know how old she was. She urinated on the bed without knowing it. Her relatives and friends believed her condition was caused by the drugs administered prior to her release.
Her left middle finger is deformed. The second knuckle is enlarged and is unable to straighten [see photo below]. A medical professional stated that it might be caused by the effect of the long-term injection of harmful and unnecessary drugs.
