(Minghui.org) Although my husband and I are now in our 70s, people often comment that we look younger, saying we don't look a day over 60. It is not just that we look younger, as we can also work in the field all day and we can walk briskly wherever we go, just like those who are much younger. When people comment on our youthful appearance I tell them it is our practice of Falun Dafa that keeps us young and healthy. I encourage them to learn it also.
When we do the three things to validate the Fa and save sentient beings, Master strengthens us. We have witnessed the miracles of Falun Dafa and experienced what Master said:
“Its broad and immense, profound inner meaning can only manifest itself to, and be experienced and understood by, practitioners who are at different levels of true cultivation.” (Broad and Immense, Essentials for Further Advancement)
Miraculous Events
One night I went to a village to distribute truth-clarifying materials by myself. The street lights made the street much too bright. As I was thinking this, I pointed my index finger to the lights, and they turned off. I was amazed, as it was miraculous and something I knew no ordinary person would understand.
Another night I was distributing materials in a village. I sensed that there was a man on his bicycle who was following me. Whether I was walking fast or slow, he kept the same pace, and was always just a short distance behind me. I suspected that his intention was not good, so I thought to myself that if his intention is to indeed harm Dafa, he should fall. Sure enough, I heard a noise and turned around to see that he had fallen off his bicycle.
Then I thought, I wish I could fly. Miraculously my two arms worked like wings and I was off the ground. It was amazing! I flew for a while until I knew I was a safe distance from the man who was following me. My feet then touched the ground and I walked home. When I arrived, I wondered if I could have flown all the way home.
One day my husband, a practitioner, and I went to hang up banners. We came to a tree about six meters high. I took off my shoes and had no problem climbing the tree. I surprised myself at my ability. My husband climbed up another tree and we hung up a banner with the words “Falun Dafa is good” high above the road. When we came down, we saw the banner was hung perfectly. I was still amazed when I looked at the tree because even much younger people would have had difficulty climbing that tree.
Becoming a Diligent Practitioner
I started to practice Falun Dafa in 1995. I used to suffer from headaches and back pain. I went to see various doctors. I tried acupuncture and folk prescriptions. I learned several qigong practices, but my health did not improve. One practitioner told me in early 1995 that Falun Gong is good. So I purchased the books, Zhuan Falun and Zhuan Falun (Volume II). I finished reading them in three and a half days. I was very excited that I had finally found what I had been searching for and that it was the real Fa and real Dao. I burned all other qigong books and decided to cultivate in Dafa until completion.
Right from the start, I witnessed Master's protection, and miracles of Dafa. When Master purified my body, I felt something was spinning from my feet to my head, and the qi current was very strong. As I studied the Fa more, I realized that it was a spinning Falun and Master was purifying my body. When I did the sitting meditation, I levitated. I was not afraid, and I felt good. When I practiced the exercises with the group, I saw Master's protective shield. I could see it with my eyes closed or open. It was magical.
With Master purifying my body, I didn't even feel tired when I climbed stairs to the 6th floor as fast as a young person, and my body felt light. I had a menstrual flow again like Master said in Zhuan Falun. People young and old were amazed, and respected me. My family members witnessed the miracles of Dafa and most of them have started practicing it. I was persecuted several times, and they supported me with righteous thoughts and have always helped me.
Helping People Understand Dafa
I have been telling people the facts about Falun Dafa since the persecution began. I told them that what they have see on TV is all lies to deceive the Chinese people. I also told them my personal experiences and those of fellow practitioners, and how we have benefited from it physically and mentally. So many people now know the truth and have a positive attitude towards Dafa, which will save them. I clarify the truth wherever I go and at the end of our conversations, I always tell people to recite often “Falun Dafa is good and Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good,” which will keep them safe when disasters happen. People are happy to accept the truth, and they thank me.
A relative of mine, had a big event to celebrate their one-month-old baby. Many relatives and friends came for the banquet. I went to every table to clarify the truth. I told them the evil nature of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), why Heaven will eliminate it, why it's important to quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations, and the story of the ancient stone which is inscribed with “Chinese Communist Party Perishes.” With Master's strengthening, I was full of wisdom. I said: “Why is it that we meet today? It is an opportunity. Please do not pass it up.” That day more than 20 people withdrew from the CCP and its affiliates. I gave them materials I brought with me, and most of them accepted them without hesitation, promising they would read them once they got home.
Though it is not always easy to help people understand Falun Dafa and the persecution, I feel fulfilled when people know the truth and become aware.
Master lets me witness so many miracles of Dafa, and I will always be diligent in the requirements to be a practitioner. I know that I still have many human attachments. I will try my best to get rid of them and follow Master to return to my original home.
