(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 23 cities or counties in 10 provinces. According to this report, 4 practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 39 practitioners were illegally arrested.

1. [Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Yu Daoping Detained

Ms. Yu Daoping was arrested at home by officers from the Yuehai Police Station in Nanshan District in the afternoon on July 15, 2014. The police confiscated her Falun Gong books, informational materials about the persecution of Falun Gong, and several cell phones and computers. She is being held at the Nanshan District Detention Center.

2. [Changzhou City, Jiangsu Province] Four Practitioners Detained

Ms. Zhang Ying was arrested and taken to a detention center on the morning of July 22, 2014. Her home was ransacked.

Mr. Su Junyi's daughter, Mr. Fei Yunfeng, and Mr. Bu Rumei were also arrested on July 22. They were taken to a brainwashing center.

3. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Liu Runlin's Whereabouts Unknown

Mr. Liu Runlin, in his 50s, was arrested on December 31, 2013, and his home was ransacked. His whereabouts is unknown.

4. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Zeng Xianmei's Whereabouts Unknown

Ms. Zeng Xianmei was arrested by plainclothes officers from the Zhongshan Park Police Station on the morning of July 19, 2014. His whereabouts is unknown.

5. [Anshan City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Xing Dan Detained

Ms. Xing Dan was arrested at home by officers from the Duilu Police Station in the Tiedong District on July 21, 2014. She is being held at the Anshan City Women's Detention Center.

6. [Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province] Two Practitioners Detained

Ms. Zhang Shilan and Ms. Liu were arrested by officers from the Laoyazhuang Police Station in the Gaoxin District on the morning of July 21, 2014, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. They were taken to the Shisanli Detention Center in Zhangjiakou City. The police ransacked their homes and confiscated Falun Gong books and informational materials about the persecution of Falun Gong.

7. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Ms. Dang Shuchun's Whereabouts Unknown

Ms. Dang Shuchun, in her 50s, a teacher from the Jilin Information Engineering School, was arrested on the way to her office on July 22, 2014. Her whereabouts is unknown.

8. [Siping City, Jilin Province] Ms. Dong Shufang Arrested

Ms. Dong Shufang was arrested at home by officers from the Tiexi Police Department on July 16, 2014.

11. [Anshan City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Sun Arrested

Ms. Sun was arrested at work by officers from the Yongle Police Station on July 21, 2014.

12. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Qin Sigui Detained

Mr. Qin Sigui was arrested at home by plainclothes officers from the Kunming Police Station in the Zhongshan District on July 21, 2014. The police confiscated Falun Gong books, several volumes of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party, computers, printers, recorders, Shen Yun Performing Arts DVDs, color inkjet paper, and other personal items. He is being held at the Yaojia Detention Center.

13. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Guan Shuli and Ms. Feng Xue Sentenced

Ms. Guan Shuli was sentenced to an 11 years in prison by the Daoli Court, and Ms. Feng Xue to nine years.

After submitting an appeal on July 22, 2014, Ms. Feng was interrogated by judge Jian Cheng of the Daoli Court and forced her to sign a waiver of her appeal. She was then taken to a hospital for treatment on July 23, 2014. Ms. Guan also had to surrender her appeal application.

14. [Jianchang County, Liaoning Province] Ms. Liu Jinman Arrested

Ms. Liu Jinman was arrested at home by officers from the Bashenhan Town Police Station on July 21, 2014.

15. [Tianjin] Ms. Hao Shuyan Detained

Ms. Hao Shuyan was arrested at home and taken to the Houjiaying Town Police Station on July 22, 2014. The police confiscated computers, printers, and brochures about the information of Falun Gong. She is being held at the Ji County Detention Center.

16. [Yancheng City, Jiangsu Province] Five Practitioners Arrested

Mr. Zhang Jianbin and his wife, Ms. Guo Naiqin, were arrested by officers from Yancheng City on June 28, 2014. Ms. Guo was released that evening, but Mr. Zhang is being held at the Yancheng City Detention Center.

On the same day, Ms. Song Guangfen, Mr. Sha Ge, and Mr. Ji Guowei were also arrested.

17. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Four Practitioners Arrested

Mr. Wang Baoshan, Ms. Han Jiuxiang, Ms. Guo Shufang, and Mr. Zhang Lijie were arrested by officers from the Xiaozhanggezhuang Town Police Station on the morning of July 23, 2014, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong.

18. [Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province] Mr. Xie Kedong Taken to Brainwashing Center

Mr. Xie Kedong was arrested at home in the morning of July 22, 2014. The police confiscated his computer. He is being held at the Baima Town Brainwashing Center in Lishui District.

19. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Qin Hanmei's Whereabouts Unknown

Ms. Qin Hanmei was arrested on the morning of July 22, 2014. The police confiscated all Falun Gong books, computers, printers, cash and 90,000 yuan in paper bills with messages about the persecution of Falun Gong on them. Her whereabouts is unknown.

20. [Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Zhao Yuzhen and Ms. Li Shujie Arrested

Ms. Zhao Yuzhen and Ms. Li Shujie were arrested at home by officers from the Jinzhou City Domestic Security Division and Police Department on the evening of July 16, 2014. The police confiscated their computers, cell phones, and Falun Gong books. Ms. Li was released, but Ms. Zhao is being held at the Jinzhou City Detention Center.

21. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Ms. Wang Cuizhen Detained

Ms. Wang Cuizhen was arrested by officers from the Ciyutuo Police Station on July 22, 2014, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. When her family, went to the police station to ask for her release, they saw her sitting on the floor with her hands cuffed behind her back. She is now in the Luan County Detention Center.

Ms. Lu Fenglan was arrested by Yang Yugang, captain of the Zhuozhou City Domestic Security Division, and officers from the Sunzhuang Town Police Station on the morning of July 21, 2014. She was taken to Baoding City.

24. [Tumen City, Jilin Province] Ms. Jiang Jingai Arrested

Ms. Jiang Jingai was arrested on the way to her office by officers from the Tumen City 610 Office on July 22, 2014.

25. [Shangyu City, Zhejiang Province] Mr. Cai Xingang and Ms. Xu Zhufen Arrested

Mr. Cai Xingang was arrested at home by officers from the 610 Office, including section chief Ding Weiliang, on June 26, 2014. The police ransacked his home and confiscated all informational materials about the persecution of Falun Gong, computers, and cell phones. His wife, Ms. Xu Zhufen, was arrested at home on June 30, 2014. Her whereabouts is unknown.

26. [Beijing] Ms. Ma Zhihui Arrested

Ms. Ma Zhihui, 68, was arrested by officers from the Gaoling Police Station on July 21, 2014, for posting informational materials about the persecution of Falun Gong. The police confiscated her Falun Gong books.

27. [Ningcheng County, Inner Mongolia] Two Practitioners Detained

Ms. Zhang Xiangyun and Ms. Wu Xiurong were arrested by plainclothes officers in the afternoon on July 21, 2014, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. They are now being held at the Ningcheng County Detention Center.

The police ransacked Ms. Wu's home and confiscated Falun Gong books and other personal items. They also ransacked Ms. Zhang's home and confiscated her computer, printer, informational materials about the persecution of Falun Gong, and other items.
