My Husband Smiles Again

(Minghui.org) I have been practicing Falun Dafa for two years now, so I am a fairly new practitioner. I have recovered from my previous ailments and am able to do housework again. Because of Falun Dafa, my family and I are happy, and my husband smiles again.

I used to suffer from many health problems. My feet and knees were swollen, and I was not able to stand or squat. I was bedridden all year long. Every joint in my body ached, I was not able to turn over, and my life was miserable.

After work, my husband had to cook and look after me. He didn't have any time for himself. He became more and more impatient and never smiled.

I saw many doctors, but didn't get any better. We spent all our savings on my medical expenses and ended up poor. I became pessimistic and even thought of committing suicide.

Local practitioners visited me many times and tried to persuade me to practice Falun Dafa. They said that Master would purify my body once I did. My daughter also asked me to practice. She said that Falun Dafa could cure me, but I didn't listen to them.

My auntie is a Falun Dafa practitioner. When she learned that I didn't heed the other practitioners, she took me aside and said, “You are only 40 years old, yet you need to be looked after. Who can always look after you for the rest of your life? Please contact the lady practitioner (an assistant in her study group). Don't be stubborn. It's not just about you. Think of your whole family. What will their lives be like because of you?”

In my mind was always had the thought that I wouldn't be able to learn, and I didn't believe the amazing health benefits of Falun Dafa.

I had a neighbor who suffered from asthma and osteonecrosis for many years, was bedridden, had difficulty breathing, was not able to walk, and couldn't take care of herself, but she became healthy after she started to practice Falun Dafa. She is now able to ride a scooter to the market and help her daughter-in-law with some housework. She also goes out to distribute informational materials about Dafa and the persecution.

That really shocked me. I started to believe that Falun Dafa indeed could save people from suffering. I saw hope and a future. All the obstacles in my head disappeared, and I decided that I wanted to practice Falun Dafa.

The local practitioners were happy when they heard that I wanted to learn and were ready to help me. Because I couldn't walk, they set up a Fa study group in my home. I threw away all the messy stuff in my home six days later. Within six months, I was able to walk and joined other practitioners.

My neighbors were surprised to see me and said, “What a joy to see you free of illnesses!” They asked me how I was able to recover. I replied, “Because I practice Falun Dafa.”

One of them said, “Yes, Falun Dafa is miraculous. Our neighbor to the south suffered from osteonecrosis, but recovered last year after she started to practice. Now you, too, have recovered by practicing it. Falun Dafa is amazing! We believe in it.” Through me, my neighbors again witnessed the beauty of Dafa.

One of my neighbors was a young man in his 30s who used to suffer from jaundice. He had been to see doctors all over China. Some people tried to persuade him to practice Falun Dafa. He said, “If the auntie in the west recovers, then I will learn Falun Dafa.” When he saw me and noticed that I had indeed recovered, he bought the book Zhuan Falun and started practicing Falun Dafa. Now he is healthy again.

My husband now firmly believes in Falun Dafa. He tells everyone he meets about me. He says, “My wife recovered from her illnesses by practicing Falun Dafa. Falun Dafa is miraculous. You have to believe it!”

My relatives witnessed my recovery and believe in Dafa now. They believe what Dafa practitioners have told them. I have told all my acquaintances through my own experiences the facts about Falun Dafa and have persuaded them to withdraw from the CCP and its affiliates.

Now, I go to our local market with other practitioners to distribute materials and save people. I do regret that I obtained Dafa so late due to my poor enlightenment quality.

Master and Falun Dafa have given me a new life. I have gone through tremendous changes, both physically and mentally. My husband smiles again and no longer has a sad face!
