(Minghui.org) I was born in 1949. I had been brainwashed all my life by the Communist Party, and I never believed in the existence of gods. When a neighbor gave me a copy of Zhuan Falun to read, I felt that Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance was good, and Master was very honest, but my thoughts remained at this level for a long time. Master saw that I did not enlighten to the supernormal power of the Fa, so one day, I found myself floating one foot above the bed when I woke up, along with my wife.
Becoming Diligent and Clarifying the Facts
I began speaking to people about the facts of Falun Dafa after the persecution began and eventually started distributing materials that clarified the truth. My wife and I later took the initiative to coordinate a Fa-study group at our home. I realized the importance of this, and I took advantage of every opportunity I could to study and to inform others of the facts. Whenever I visited a different home, I helped them understand the facts. Many people awakened to the truth, and some began practicing Falun Dafa.
A man in his 30s was injured at work, and his hand could no longer function. There was no hope of it ever functioning again. All his family relied on him, and he was miserable. I told him the miraculous effects of Dafa and he readily believed it. Three days later, he told me, “I could not move my hand for a few years, but now I can move it again!” He was very excited, and his wife also witnessed the power of Dafa. Several of his family members became steadfast Dafa practitioners.
Another young man suffered from polio, and one leg had muscle atrophy and he could not feel or move it. They spent a lot of money for treatment, but it never improved. He was over 30 but he did not have a wife, and had to be supported by his parents; he was miserable. After I clarified the truth about Dafa to him, he became very interested. He asked, “Can my disease be cured by practicing?” I said, “If you are sincere.” He replied, “I will be sincere for sure.” He became better and better after he practiced Dafa. He can now work and make a living.
Helping People Understand Dafa in Mountain Villages
I realized that people in the remote mountain villages should be saved too. I had worked for a long time in the mountains before and I thought there must have been a reason. I am familiar with the geographical environment in the mountains, so I brought some materials there to distribute. I signed a contract to install lightning arresters in the mountain areas which would take two months. I brought some truth-clarifying materials with me, and I helped people understand the facts about Dafa while working during the day, and I would distribute materials at night.
I was arrested by the local 610 Office during the Olympic Games on August 15, 2008, and my home was ransacked. I was sentenced to a forced labor camp for over a year, during which I recognized more clearly the Party's lies and evil nature. After returning from the forced labor camp, I could not mentally break free of the persecution. I had fallen behind in Fa study, so I committed myself to studying more and gradually let go of resentment and improved my xinxing.
Realizing Time Is Short
I started to clarify the truth again, first to individuals, and then to groups. For example, to groups chatting on the street in villages, merchants doing business at the fair, and people who came to the fair. I went to places full of people, including attractions, stores, mining areas and businesses. The more I clarified truth, the more I felt time was running out, and the more I realized people are all waiting to be saved by Dafa.
Through my years of truth clarification, I met many people who understood the truth and appreciated Dafa, some who did not believe the truth, and a few who were thoroughly deceived by the CCP and threatened to report me. No matter the situation, I kept calm and looked inward, eliminated misunderstandings of people toward Dafa with my compassion, and saving people with patience. In the past few years, I have felt Master has let me cultivate among all kinds of people in order to broaden my view, increase my understandings, let go of my attachments, and transcend the mundane world.
I will cherish the cultivation environment Master created for us, following Dafa and saving more sentient beings in the limited time left. I am truly grateful for Master's salvation, and I appreciate my fellow practitioners' generous help!
