(Minghui.org) The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has brainwashed the Chinese people to such an extent that they feel they must tell the police when a good person, a Falun Gong practitioner, gives them something that is pure, good, and truthful. Other practitioners and I do this to save them from the evil clutches of the CCP. Unfortunately, I had an attachment of just doing the job at the beginning. Master helped me change.
When I distributed Shen Yun Performing Arts DVDs and Dafa truth clarification pamphlets and calendars to my co-workers, out of fear, I didn't clarify the truth about Falun Gong to them. One of them reported me to the CCP authorities. I couldn't understand why this had happened: I felt I was in a good state of mind, I was doing the most righteous thing, and I had summoned up my courage to save them. Why would someone report me?
I pondered this for some time and gained some new understandings. In order to really have a person understand the truth, I cannot just go through the motions or do it in a perfunctory way. The purpose of clarifying the truth is also to help me get rid of my human heart and attachments, so that I can truly elevate on the basis of the Fa.
I used to believe that, when people read the informational brochures and watched the DVD, they would automatically understand the truth. My part was done when I gave them the material to read; now it was up to them to read it and be saved. In reality, I was being very irresponsible.
Changing my Mindset
It was a good thing to distribute brochures to my co-workers, but I needed to take a step further. I realized I had to seize the moment to actually talk with them and see if they had read the material. I needed to follow up to ask how much they understood, if they had any questions, or what they didn't understand. At that point, I needed to discuss whatever needed further clarification.
Cultivators have no enemies. How could a cultivator who walks on the path of godhood view ordinary people as enemies? Several people suggested that I find someone to beat up the co-worker who turned me in to give him lesson. At first, I was also very upset with him. We had worked together for years and got along pretty well. I only wanted to save him by giving him some Dafa materials so that he could learn what Falun Gong is all about.
Instead, he told the CCP what I was doing. I was arrested and put in detention. And I was facing being fired from the company.
Even though I was upset, I had one thought: to have him really understand the truth of Falun Gong. I called him and arranged to meet him. I told him why I practiced Falun Gong. I told him about all my health problems in the past: my complications in childbirth, heart problems, low blood pressure, stroke-like symptoms, back pain from narrowing of a lumbar vertebra. After I began to practice Falun Gong, all my illnesses disappeared. I truly experienced what it feels like to be free of illness.
I told him the truth of the staged Tienanmen immolation hoax and about the rock in Guizhou with the Chinese characters “Heaven eliminates the Chinese Communist Party.” I told him that the CCP forcibly takes the organs of living Falun Gong practitioners for profit. I told him about the CCP's various campaigns that killed so many Chinese. I told him so many things.
With over two hours of heart-to-heart conversation, his misunderstanding of me and Dafa was dissolved. The bad substances in his brain were eliminated, the field around me cleared, and the pressure lifted.
After I returned from the detention center, my employer made me choose: I could have a job or cultivate. I faced a lot of pressure from my workplace and family. Facing the loss of many benefits, I truly experienced the agony of letting go.
I shared my problems with fellow practitioners and this awakened my righteous thoughts. Dafa and Master had given me so much: my healthy body and a good life. Falun Dafa is a righteous Fa.
Experiencing the Boundlessness of the Fa
In the end, I chose to verify this with my life. Under Master's compassionate protection, with fellow practitioners righteous thoughts and support, I delivered a truth clarification letter to the administrators where I worked.
The result was surprising but also expected. I kept my job. It verified the supernatural power of Dafa. When a cultivator walks the right path, the evil is shattered. There was no more, “If you do not give up Falun Gong you will be fired.” The power of Dafa let me experience the realm of boundlessness. Only when I was able to let go of everything could I truly experience the realm of transcendence and beyond.
During my cultivation, what I verify is the Fa and the wonder and magnificence of Dafa.
