(Minghui.org) Five strangers broke into the home of Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Shi Guoxing at 10 a.m. on May 9, 2014. A uniformed police officer brusquely said, “We are from the police department. We know it is almost 'that day.' You know it and we also are aware of what that day means. Are you still practicing Falun Gong?” [“That day” they referred to is World Falun Dafa Day on May 13]

Mr. Shi lives in Diaojiabu Village in the Guhe District in Laixi City, Shandong Province.

Personal Property Confiscated

None of the intruders produced any credentials. They searched everywhere and turned Mr. Shi's home upside down. One person made a phone call for more support. Three vehicles arrived with eight officers.

The officers seized a photograph of Mr. Li Hongzhi, the founder of Falun Gong; Falun Gong books; a television; a DVD video player; videotapes; a laptop; a printer; printer ink; a CD burner; 7 boxes of CDs (4 boxes were blank and 3 had already been burned), each containing 50 CDs; 2 broadcasting devices; a paper cutter; 4 packages of printing paper; 2 containers of glue; 4 packages of printing paper; 2 truth-clarification stamps for printing on paper money; many years of Minghui Weekly; and training materials.

Couple Arrested and Interrogated

The officers arrested Mr. Shi and his wife, Ms. Song Zhenfang, in the middle of that night and took them to the Guhe Police Station. They were separated and interrogated the next day from approximately 2-4 p.m.

Mr. Shi and the officer were deadlocked for half an hour because he refused to sign his name and give his fingerprints. An officer entered and grabbed Mr. Shi's hat, threw it on a chair, and raged, “Why won't you sign your name? You have to sign your name and give your fingerprints.” Mr. Shi refused to cooperate. The couple was released at 5 p.m.

Over a dozen officers persecuted Mr. Shi and Ms. Song, including Wang, Yu, Liu and Bing. Further information is being investigated.
