(Minghui.org) Mr. Wang Haijin from Qinhuangdao City, Hebei Province has been illegally arrested and detained for over a month. His wife has searched everywhere for him. His family is in disarray, his elderly parents are still in shock, and his two young children need care. His bakery operation has been put on hold and is losing an average of four to five hundred yuan daily.

Why was Mr. Wang arrested? Who were the ones who came and took him away? There has been no information about this, and no organization has claimed responsibility for his arrest. His family and relatives have been in an anxious state for the entire month.

Mr. Wang was working at his bakery on April 22, 2014 around noon. Two young men in their 20s came to his store and pretended to order cakes while making a phone call.

Shortly after, a dozen forceful people rushed into his bakery yelling: “Who is Wang Haijin? Come with us!” They then raided the bakery, taking the lease contract, and Mr. Wang's wife's cell phone. After persistent inquiry, they finally admitted that they were from the Niutouya Police Station. They took away two portable computers, a van which belonged to Mr. Wang's relative, six cellphones and other personal items.

In the meantime, a dozen people who were mostly plainclothes agents, raided Mr. Wang's home in Caigezhuang. Mr. Wang's 80-year old mother was home alone, and she was so scared that she passed out. Two plainclothes agents picked her up and pinned her down on the sofa. Without any search warrant, they began to raid the home. They took away all Falun Gong books, desktop and portable computers, ransacked the closet, and also searched the garage.

The next morning, the same group of people went to Mr. Wang's brother's home, broke in when nobody was at home and ransacked it. A number of personal items were found to be missing thereafter.

There was no ID or search warrant presented during the raids. Mr. Wang's family members went to the police station and inquired many times. They finally learned that the police who arrested him were from the Qinhuangdao Funing Domestic Security Team and that the police who raided both homes were from the Niutouya and Haininglu Police Stations. It has been over 20 days, and the responsible parties are passing the buck, hoping to dodge responsibility, and not giving out any solid information regarding Mr. Wang.

At this point, none of the responsible parties have showed the family the items they took during the raid, and many personal items are missing from the home, garage and bakery.

Since Mr. Wang was arrested, numerous plainclothes agents have showed up around their home and bakery, monitoring and following people, and not only affecting people's lives but also disturbing the neighborhood. After the family clarified the facts to neighbors and other vendors near the bakery, they realized it was not that a Falun Gong practitioner had committed a crime, but rather that the judiciary organizations had violated the law, arrested good people without any reason and raided their homes without a warrant.
