Breaking Through False Impressions
(Minghui.org) I talked with a fellow practitioner after our Fa study. She told me that she had a stiff neck and that it had been hurting for days, and that it also affected her arm. The only relief she could find was by laying down. I thought the “stiff neck” is a false impression. But how could I help her break through this notion?
Master mentioned in Zhuan Falun about an elderly lady that was hit by a car:
“This practitioner slowly got up from the ground and said: 'There’s nothing wrong. You can leave.'”
The elderly lady did not continue to lay down there, but instead:
“She brushed off the dirt on her clothes and left with her husband.” (Zhuan Falun)
When one passively searches within when facing a tribulation, his or her purpose is to get rid of the problem. But, why not get up right away, and continue doing what a Dafa practitioner should do? We know very well the persecution is initiated by the old forces, so then why not negate it? Master arranged for Dafa practitioners to do the three things in an upright and dignified manner: Exercise, study the Fa, clarify the truth and send forth righteous thoughts.
When I shared my understanding with the fellow practitioner that had the “stiff neck,” she got up and exercised immediately, and her condition improved right away.
