My husband and I practice Falun Dafa. My husband had always been very healthy and fit despite being 68 years old. He helped people cut down trees and build houses.
He started to complain of a headache on August 7, 2010. I found a peanut-sized hard swelling on the right side of his neck. He told me that he had it for about three months.
Diagnosed with Malignant Tumor
We didn’t pay much attention until my daughter and second son came home to celebrate my birthday on August 14. They urged him to see a doctor. He went to the Luoyang Military Hospital where my family friend Hao worked.
The initial diagnosis was a lymph node tumor. Hao didn’t want to worry him, so he told him that he only needed minor surgery but it had to be done immediately. However, my husband insisted on going home to take care of the crops. When the pathology results came back, Hao called and urged us to have the surgery within ten days.
The swelling had become the size of an egg in 40 days, and there was another peanut-sized growth next to it. At Hao's repeated urging, my husband went to the hospital on September 25. I was busy with household chores, so my children accompanied him. Before he left, I told him to keep Teacher (the founder of Falun Dafa) and Dafa in his heart in all circumstances.
The examination revealed many other lumps on the back of his neck and armpits. His blood looked black and his white blood cell count was very high. He had surgery that afternoon and the pathology results said he had lymphoma.
Stopping Medical Treatment
Many experts from several major hospitals were consulted the next day. His doctor recommended a spinal puncture and chemotherapy. However, we already had used up all our savings. When my daughter called for my opinion, I had one thought, “He needs to come home. Let’s stop the treatment.”
I went to the hospital the next day. I saw my daughter and my husband waiting for me at the door. To my surprise, they told me that he would be discharged the next day. My daughter had successfully convinced Hao to discharge him. I knew in my heart that it was because I had the thought “Let’s stop the treatment.”
I clearly understood that it was not an ordinary disease, so ordinary treatment wouldn’t work. We needed to believe in Dafa.
We returned home on September 25. Many relatives and friends came to visit him. Most of them advised him to get chemotherapy. My niece said, “This is blood cancer. How can it be cured by practicing Falun Dafa? You’d better start on chemotherapy.”
I told the crowd, “If you don’t believe the miracles in Falun Dafa truth clarification materials, you will witness it with your own eyes this time.”
Studying the Fa and Practicing the Exercises
My home is the local group Fa study site. My husband studied the Fa and practiced the exercises diligently once he returned home. He had the sutures from the surgery removed at a local hospital. When he went to the county hospital for a blood test two months later, every test came back normal.
We returned to Luoyang Military Hospital to thank Hao for his help. More importantly, we wanted to validate the magnificence of Dafa.
Hao was amazed by the results of the blood test. He couldn’t believe his eyes and repeated the test four times. He took blood samples from my husband's arm and finger. But all the results indicated that my husband was fully recovered. Hao had to admit that Falun Dafa was truly miraculous.
One doctor gave my husband six months to live because his lymphoma was the most severe type. But my husband is still healthy three and half years later.
Hao used to be against Falun Dafa. He is now convinced of its miraculous healing power.
In our village, two other people had the same disease as my husband. They both passed away after spending a lot on surgery and chemotherapy. Only my husband returned to good health.
Our family and friends are now convinced of the goodness of Falun Dafa. One friend said, “I now believe what the Falun Dafa truth clarification materials say.”
