Additional Persecution News from China – June 6, 2014 (11 Reports)

(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 11 cities or counties in 8 provinces. According to this report, 2 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 11 practitioners were illegally arrested.

1. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Zhu Lanying Sentenced to Prison

The Heping District Court sentenced Ms. Zhu Lanying to three years in prison. The sentence was suspended with a five-year probation period. Ms. Zhu was released at the end of May 2014.

2. [Meishan City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Zhou Yong Detained

Mr. Zhou Yong, 38, from Yongshou Town in Dongpo District, was arrested on May 14, 2014. He was held in the Meishan Detention Center, then transferred to the Qingshen County Detention Center.

3. [Ordos City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region] Ms. Wang Yuanli Arrested

Ms. Wang Yuanli from Dalad Banner was arrested at home on the evening of June 3, 2014. Her Falun Gong books, computer and Shen Yun Performing Arts DVDs were confiscated.

4. [Weihai City, Shandong Province] Ms. Li Rong and Her Teenage Children Arrested

Ms. Li Rong, her son Mr. Yu Shui, 15, and her daughter Ms. Yu Jing, 17, were arrested at home by officers from the Gao District on the evening of June 2, 2014. The daughter was released the same day. Ms. Li is being held in the Weihai Lockup Center. Her son is being held in the Weihai Detention Center.

5. [Lanxi City, Zhejiang Province] Ms. Lu Genmei Detained

Agents from the 610 Office took Ms. Lu Genmei to the Shuanglong Brainwashing Center in Jinhua on May 29, 2014.

6. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Fan Ying Detained

Ms. Fan Ying, 50s, from Hukou Village in Jiangxia District, was arrested on June 3, 2014 for talking about Falun Gong. She was detained in Erzhigou for 10 days.

7. [Nanchong City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Hu Er Arrested

Mr. Hu Er was arrested by officers from the Dongguan Police Station on the morning of June 5, 2014, for explaining the facts about Falun Gong in Dongguan Town in Gaoping District.

8. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Fang Fengqin and Ms. Liu Jinfeng Detained

Ms. Fang Fengqin and Ms. Liu Jinfeng from the Oil Extraction No. 6 Factory in Rang District were arrested by plainclothes officers from the Lamadian Police Department on the morning of June 4, 2014 for distributing informational materials about Falun Gong. They are being held in a detention center.

9. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Ms. Li Shuqin Arrested

Ms. Li Shuqin was arrested by plainclothes officers from the Xindihao Police Station on June 5, 2014, for raising awareness about Falun Gong. Her computer and other items were confiscated.

10. [Qichun County, Hebei Province] Ms. Zhang Ying Detained

Ms. Zhang Ying from Liuhe Town was arrested by officers from the Liuhe Police Station on June 3, 2014. She is being held in Wuxue City, Hubei Province.

11. [Morin Dawa Daur Autonomous Banner, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region] Mr. Li Jiucheng Detained

Mr. Li Jiucheng was arrested for distributing informational materials about Falun Gong by officers from Morin Dawa Domestic Security Division on June 2, 2014. He is being held in a detention center.
