Mr. Wang Lin Facing Illegal Trial after Six Months of Brutal Persecution in Prison

(Minghui.org) Jinzhou City Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Wang Lin has been brutally persecuted for over six months in detention, and is to be illegally tried within the next few days. Guta District Court Judge Pan Lili is attempting to prevent Mr. Wang's lawyer from defending him.

Illegally Arrested and Homes Ransacked

Mr. Wang and seven other Falun Gong practitioners were illegally arrested on the night of October 18, 2013 by the Guta District Police Department and the Jingye Police Station in Jinzhou City. After midnight, Bai Ning, the director of the 610 Office and other officers in the Jinzhou City Police Department, the Guta District Police Department, and the Jingye Police Station went to several Falun Gong practitioners' homes, ransacked the homes and confiscated personal property.

Guards Retaliate When Mr. Wang Protested Being Persecuted

Mr. Wang protested the persecution at the Jinzhou Detention Center by refusing to wear prisoners' garments. The next day, guard Wang Hong retaliated by shocking him with an electric baton 20-30 times. While this was happening, Mr. Wang loudly shouted, “Guards are beating me! Falun Dafa is good!”

Afterwards, Wang Hong ordered criminal inmates to beat Mr. Wang. Mr. Wang immediately lost consciousness. After reviving him, several criminals and guards handcuffed him in the corridor and left him there until 8:30 p.m. They wouldn't let him go to the bathroom during that time.

Immobilized for Forty Days

The guards handcuffed Mr. Wang and shackled his legs so that he couldn't stand up, turn over or move. He wasn't allowed to attend to everyday hygiene or go to the toilet. This torture has been going on for more than forty days. The guards forced inmates to provide him with plastic bags to relieve himself. Mr. Wang has suffered serious injuries and humiliation through this ordeal.

Mr. Wang's Family Visited the Procuratorate

Mr. Wang's family went to the Jinzhou City Procuratorate that supervises the detention center, and made accusations regarding Mr. Wang's treatment. However, Director Luan was unreasonable and rude. He said, “We don't have electric batons, we just have rods. We had to immobilize him because he didn't obey the guards.”

Judge Pan Lili has repeatedly tried and sentenced Falun Gong practitioners. She unjustly sentenced Falun Gong practitioners Ms. Zhou Yuzhen and Ms. Wang Yanqiu to four years in prison. The Liaoning Province Women's Prison sent them back because of their poor health but Judge Pan and others refused to release them, and managed to imprison both practitioners again.
