(Minghui.org) My father is a Falun Dafa practitioner. He was illegally arrested and sentenced to seven years in prison in May 2001 when he was passing out fliers about the “Tiananmen Self-immolation.”
At the time, I was still a child. Due to the slanderous propaganda of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), I did not understand Falun Dafa, nor my father. I thought that he had brought harm to our family. After my father was released from prison in 2008, superficially I didn't have harsh words and actions toward him, but in my heart I was not happy with him for practicing Falun Dafa.
The CCP created many interferences for my business and my mother's job. My father was fired from his job, and my family had a hard time earning a living.
I went to Shanghai for a part time job in March 2009. I worked for three months. Not only didn't the boss pay me, but he hired people to beat me up. I fought back in self defense and went home that night.
The Shanghai police called me the next day and said: “Your wage issues have been resolved, and you can come and pick up your wages.” However, as soon as I arrived in Shanghai, the police arrested me and put me in the Putuo Detention Center.
I asked the police: “Didn't you ask me to come to pick up my wages?” The police said: “Then go and bring your boss here.” I said: “How can I bring him here if you have detained me here?” After I was held in the center for one month, I was released only after my mother gave 5000 yuan to the police. I went to look for my boss and brought him to the police, but the police let him go right away.

Witnessing the CCP Cruelty Towards Practitioners
While I was detained in the Putuo Detention Center, I saw a guard beat up an elderly lady who was 60 to 70 years old and who was a Falun Dafa practitioner. After handcuffing her hands and hanging her in the air, the guard beat her ruthlessly for three days and nights. After being tortured for three days, the lady lost consciousness, and no one knew if she was alive or not.
While I was detained in the center for a month, the officers didn't dare lay a finger on me. Even when I pointed a finger at their faces and fought back against them, they didn't beat me. However, they were so cruel to the elderly lady who was a Falun Dafa practitioner.
My attitude changed toward both Falun Dafa and my father because I had witnessed the CCP's cruelty towards the practitioners. I have obtained a multitude of good fortune since the time I supported my father for practicing Falun Dafa.
I made a big fortune in 2009 from doing business in Wuhan City. I bought a house and a car. I often read Falun Dafa truth clarifying materials and I have talked to my friends about the brutality of the CCP. I told them Falun Dafa teaches people to be good.
I believe that the benevolent power of Falun Dafa will defeat the evil.
