(Minghui.org) My husband was diagnosed with diabetes and kidney disease this year. His situation was rather severe and he needed to be hospitalized. The night before he was to be admitted, he wrote a solemn declaration to repent of the bad things he had done against Dafa while under pressure of the persecution. Suddenly, his fate changed.
My Husband's Solemn Statement
My husband was very nervous the night before he was scheduled to go to the hospital. I said to him: “Heaven will punish whomever persecutes cultivators of Buddha and the Dao, destroys scriptures, and slanders Buddha and the Fa. You'd better write a statement to admit the bad things you've done. Master is compassionate and will help you.”
So he wrote this statement that night:
“In 2005, State Security police arrested my wife and took her to a detention center. I feared for her safety and that of my family, so I burned my wife's Falun Dafa books. I deeply regret this. Falun Dafa's Master is compassionate and has given me a chance to repent for what I have done.
“Before my wife practiced Falun Dafa, she suffered from many diseases and was hospitalized many times. I was so tired from taking care of her. After she started practicing Falun Dafa, her health improved tremendously and she became a much better person. Not only does she benefit from Falun Dafa, but my child and I benefit as well. I thank Falun Dafa's Master.
I solemnly state that I rescind anything that I have said, done, or written that were against Falun Dafa. I confess this to Master and will always remember that Falun Dafa is good, Master is good, and Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.”
I submitted his declaration to Minghui.org after he finished.
Everything Turned Around
I accompanied my husband to hospital on the next day. There were many tests before he could be hospitalized. We had lunch before the blood sugar test. We waited for the result after his blood sample was drawn. As the minutes passed, he looked more and more anxious. He paced back and forth in the hallway.
When he gave the results to his doctor, the doctor seemed surprised and asked what he had for lunch.
“Noodles.”
“This is strange. Your blood sugar level should have gone up after your lunch; instead, it came down and is almost normal.” The test results for renal function also showed a normal white blood cell count.
“You are fine,” the doctor said. “There is no need for a hospital stay.” We left the hospital happy and relieved.
When we returned from the hospital, my husband said, “All I did was admit my mistakes in that statement, yet Master blessed me so much. Falun Dafa is indeed miraculous. Master is great! I would not believe it if I hadn't experienced it personally.
“This is why Falun Dafa has spread throughout the world and is still going strong after 15 years of persecution. You Falun Dafa practitioners don't fear death. I admire you from the bottom of my heart. If Master didn't save me, how could I possibly live a long life? I hope to thank Master in person when he returns to China one day.”
