(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes persecution that took place in 12 cities or counties in 8 provinces. According to this report, 3 practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during detention, and at least 12 practitioners were illegally arrested .

1. [Mishan, Heilongjiang] Mr. Qu Dehong's Home Ransacked

Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Qu Dehong's home was ransacked by the authorities on April 2, 2014. Involved in the ransacking were Qian Guofeng, secretary of the Political Affairs Committee of Mishan Police Department, Yu Xiaofeng from the Mishan 610 Office and officers from the Jixi Police Department. They took away photos of Master Li Hongzhi (founder of Falun Dafa), Falun Dafa books, four cell phones, a computer and 600 yuan. Apparently Mr. Qu was not at home, but his wife was taken to the No. 2 Police Station for interrogation. She was released in the evening.

2. [Jinyun County, Zhejiang Province] Mr. Wang Guande Detained

Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Wang Deguan from Canglingjiao Village, Huzhen Town, Jinyun County was illegally arrested on April 3, 2014. He is being held at the Jiyun Detention Center.

3. [Shenyang, Liaoning Province] Ms. Qi Chunchao Sentenced to Seven Years' Imprisonment

Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Qi Chunchao was arrested on November 2, 2012. She was unlawfully sentenced to seven years of imprisonment. She is being held at a prison in Dalian, Liaoning Province.

4. [Zhenzhou, Hunan Province] Three Falun Dafa Practitioners Detained

Ms. Zeng Guilian, Ms. Tang Qingsi and Ms. Tang Huaming work at the Jiedong Coal Company in Suxian District, Zhenzhou. Deng Meitao and public security officers from Wulipai Town took the three practitioners to the Zhenzhou Detention Center on April 5, 2014. They were held there for 10 days.

5. [Zibo, Shandong Province] Falun Dafa Practitioner Ms. Han Junqing Recently Arrested

6. [Shanghai] Mr. Ding Xiang Arrested

Mr. Ding Xiang was arrested by officers from the Baoshan Domestic Security Division while he was distributing Falun Dafa materials sometime around March 12, 2014. He is being held at the Baoshan District Detention Center.

7. [Yantai, Shandong Province] Ms. Wang Ling Detained

Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Wang Ling was arrested at the Bicheng Industrial Park by police on March 30, 2014. She was detained.

8. [Yi County, Liaoning Province] Ms. Zhao Lingyan Arrested

Ms. Zhao Lingyan from Jiushao Village, Zhangjiapu Township, Yi County was arrested for distributing Falun Dafa materials at Songshangou Village on the morning of April 7, 2014. Her home was ransacked.

9. [Zhangshu, Jiangxi Province] Mr. Yang Sairong and Ms. Shan Jilan Detained

Mr. Yang Sairong and Ms. Shan Jilan were arrested by officers from the Yongtai Town Police Station when they went to Yongtai to distribute Falun Dafa materials on the afternoon of April 2, 2014. They are being held at the Zhangshu Detention Center.

10. [Pi County, Sichuan Province] Two Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Meng Yiqiu and Ms. Ren Zuhua from Tangchang Town, Pi County were arrested at their respective homes on April 4, 2014.

11. [Jinan, Shandong Province] Additional Information about the Arrest of Ms. Yang Chun

Chief of the Liulishan Police Station led about 10 policemen to ransack Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Yang Chun's home on the morning of April 4, 2014. Ms. Yang was taken to the police station in Shizhong District, Jinan. She is being held at the Jinan Detention Center on a 15-day term.

12. [Zhangping, Fujian Province] Mr. Tang Fuxing Detained

Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Tang Fuxing was arrested at the security checkpoint of the Zhangping Train Station by officers from the Zhangping Railroad Police Station. It happened when he was about to take the train to Xiamen in the early morning on April 3, 2014. He was held for a 15-day term.
