(Minghui.org) It has been a year since Ms. Xie from Vancouver started calling people in Mainland China to clarify the facts. She has interacted with all kinds of people, some friendly and some hostile. What she finds most rewarding is that many people who used to have a hostile attitude towards her due to the brainwashing and lies told by the CCP have now learned the truth, changed their attitudes, quit the CCP organizations and chosen a bright future for themselves.
“The person who wanted to shoot me dead quit the CCP”
Ms. Xie said that she once called a number and a middle-aged man answered the phone. “As soon as I mentioned the three withdrawals, he started to verbally abuse me, saying that he would shoot me dead. I called him four or five times, and each time he behaved the same way. I began to wonder if he was worthy of salvation. Then I thought if I gave up on him, he might not have another chance to learn the truth.”
“So I decided to call him again. I told him I was calling him for his own sake and urged him to listen to what I was saying. Then I began to tell him about the corruption of the CCP officials, the root cause of the injustice in our society, and the wide spread of Falun Dafa around the world. He became less and less angry as he listened, and in the end he said he understood and quit the CCP organizations. He said he would remember 'Falun Dafa is good'”.
The young man who swore at me earlier said later: “Big sister, can you call me often in the future?”
A young man began to verbally abuse Ms. Xie as soon as she started telling him about the three withdrawals. Ms. Xie didn't take it to heart and told him calmly that she used to have very poor health, but benefited both physically and mentally after practicing Falun Gong. She also told him about the persecution of Falun Gong and her own suffering as a result of being illegally arrested and persecuted. She further exposed the evil conduct of the CCP and told him that heaven would punish it. She persuaded him to quit the CCP organizations so that he would be spared and not go down with the CCP.
After listening to her, the young man completely changed his attitude and happily quit the Young Pioneers. He thanked Ms. Xie and asked her, “Big sister, can you call me often? I like listening to you talk. It makes me feel very comfortable.” Ms. Xie always remembers to call him and say hello at holiday times.
From being confused to shouting out “Falun Dafa is good”
A man agreed to quit the CCP happily when Ms. Xie called him, but he refused to listen to the facts about Falun Gong and repeated the lies told by the CCP. He started to swear at Ms. Xie and she had to hang up. A little while later, she called him again and asked him, “How can you talk to people that way? If someone abused your family members the way you did me, how would you feel about it?” The man hung up the phone. Ms. Xie called him again and told him it was very bad to say dirty words. The man hung up on her again.
Ms. Xie calmed down and looked within. She realized that she was being emotional instead of being compassionate when she talked to him. She was criticizing and complaining about him. She adjusted herself and called him again. She said, “I think you were only joking with me just now, but the joke was a bit over the top. I hope we can be friends.” She then began to tell him what Falun Gong was all about and told him it was a sin to slander the Buddha Fa.
The man listened carefully and completely changed his attitude. Ms. Xie heard someone else talking to him, and asked if there was anyone with him and if he would also like to quit the CCP organizations. The man told her it was his old classmate from primary school. The man persuaded him, and his classmate also quit the Party. At the end of the phone call, the man shouted loudly: “Falun Dafa is good! Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good!”
More and more people have awakened and become clear-headed
Once Ms. Xie called a businessman from Macao who was doing business in mainland China. He was very excited to receive the phone call and said many of his friends now curse the CCP. He encouraged Ms. Xie, saying Falun Gong was truly extraordinary and hoped that practitioners would keep up their efforts in truth-clarification.
Another time, a young man answered her call. He told her he never joined any of the Party's organizations, but he had a group of people working in his company. So Ms. Xie asked him to pass the phone to others in the office. Those in his office at the time all quit the CCP organizations. The young man told Ms. Xie that there were many people in his company and he would like to help her persuade others to do the three withdrawals. Ms. Xie told him to list those who would like to quit, and she would call him later. A few hours later, when she called again, the young man told her that more than 100 people in the company wanted to do the three withdrawals.
Dafa cultivators can endure humiliation and compassionately fulfill their mission
Reflecting upon her experiences in calling people in mainland China, Ms. Xie said, “It's important to rectify oneself first before making phone calls. The Chinese people have been deeply poisoned by the Party culture and many of them start swearing at us when we call them to clarify the facts. We must endure humiliation and not be moved when we are abused. We must use compassion to resolve all these issues.”
Ms. Xie has been practicing Falun Gong for nearly 16 years. All her illnesses, such as low blood sugar level, arthritis and arrhythmia, disappeared soon after she took up the practice. She recalled, “I was very excited after I obtained the Fa. My happiness was beyond words.”
Only half a year after she started practicing Falun Gong, the CCP started the persecution. Ms. Xie was arrested six times for appealing for Falun Gong in Beijing and doing the exercises in parks. She was severely persecuted to near death, weighing less than 40 kilos. However, her faith in Falun Dafa never wavered. Now she has come to live in a free country, Canada, but she still cares a great deal about her fellow countrymen back in China. She will continue to call them to clarify the facts and she hopes that they can all break away from the Party's lies and have a bright future.
