(Minghui.org) Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Yu Zhiying was recently illegally arrested by Ningbo City Police. The also ransacked Ms. Yu's home. She has now been transferred to the Cixi Detention Center in Ningbo City. Her daughter is trying to find a lawyer to enter a not guilty plea.
Ms. Yu Zhiying, 50, was an accountant at the Zhenhai Power Plant. She started to practice Falun Dafa in 1998. Her mind and body greatly improved after she began practicing. Her gallstones and other diseases all disappeared, and she changed from being an ill-tempered person to being kind and considerate.
Ms. Yu was arrested by officer Yu Yao from the Domestic Security Division on April 18 while she was clarifying the truth. The police raided her home. When her daughter got home, she found the doors were open and everything was a mess. Their Falun Dafa books, truth clarification materials, printers and cash were missing.
Ms. Yu has suffered tremendously in the past because she did not give up her faith in Falun Dafa. Her family members have also suffered due to the persecution. Her father suffered from ascites and was hospitalized. He died after learning that Ms. Yu was arrested. Ms. Yu's daughter was forced to be separated from her and lived in terror from a young age. Ms. Yu's husband could not bear the huge pressure and divorced her in 2009 while she was in prison.
Previous Persecution Facts:
Ms. Yu Zhiying was illegally sentenced to one and a half years in prison in 2001. In 2004, she was imprisoned in the Zhejiang Province Women's Prison for three years. On November 17, 2008, she was arrested while she was telling people the facts about Falun Gong, and was detained for a number of months at the Zhenghai District Detention Center. She was imprisoned for three years and six months though she pleaded not guilty for herself at Beilun District Court.
