(Minghui.org) In October 2013, when my 26-year-old son was riding on his colleague's motorcycle, he was hit by a speeding motorcycle at a traffic light. He was thrown off the bike and landed on his head. When I saw him in the hospital, he was lying on a stretcher and his face was covered with blood.
He had multiple facial fractures (left), optic nerve injury (left), superior orbital fissure syndrome (left), frontal lobe contusion (left), subarachnoid hemorrhage, intracranial pneumatocele, and an old epidural hematoma at the top of the left frontal bone.
I couldn't see his eyes. Because of the facial fractures, his left eyeball no longer moved and the swollen eyelid would not open. The doctor said that he most likely would lose his vision.
Initially his condition did not improve, and he was not able to open the damaged eyelid.
A week later, Ms. Wang, a practitioner and a teacher, visited us and said to my son, “If you want to have a good recovery, please recite sincerely, 'Falun Dafa is good and Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.'” My son agreed and they recited together, “Falun Dafa is good! Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good! Master Li, please help me! ”
My son suddenly said loudly, “Mom, my left eye really hurts.” We witnessed a miracle, because the eyelid twitched several times and a small slit opened.
At first his doctor did not believe us, but he changed his mind after an exam. Although my son's eyelid stayed closed, he was firmly convinced that a miracle would happen if he continued to recite, “Falun Dafa is good! Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good! Master Li, please help me!”
Twenty days later, my son was transferred to a big hospital in Beijing for eye surgery. According to his doctor, a famous expert in ophthalmology, there was a slim chance for the operation to succeed, because the optical nerve was damaged.
However, after the surgery, the left eyeball started to move. His doctor was surprised and said, “This young man is lucky! The optical nerve was still viable even after being mangled for 20 days. It is really a miracle!”
Five or six days later, my son said, “Mom, look! I can open my left eyelid completely now.”
Sincerely reciting “Falun Dafa is good” can turn bad luck into good. By believing that “Falun Dafa is good,” one may very well find good fortune.
