Nanjing, Jiangsu Province: Family Finally Finds Out Ms. Zhang Xiuhua's Whereabouts Four Weeks after Her Arrest

(Minghui.org) Four weeks after her most recent arrest on March 6, 2014 , Ms. Zhang Xinhua's family finally managed to find out that she has been held in Nanjing City Brainwashing Center since they last saw her. The local authorities had kept the family in the dark regarding their loved one's whereabouts.

Recently relocated to Huada Hotel on 33 Qingdao Road, Nanjing City Brainwashing Center is a facility used to incarcerate and abuse local Falun Gong practitioners.

Home Ransacked Shortly Before Latest Arrest

On February 27, 2014, head of the Qixia District Domestic Security Division Fu Weicheng, Zhai Zongbing and Li Xiangyang from Yaohuamen Police Station broke into Ms. Zhang's home and ransacked her place again. They threatened to kill her if she continued to practice.

Earlier Arrests and Detentions

After the persecution began in July 1999, Ms. Zhang has been unlawfully arrested, detained, and had her home ransacked multiple times.

In June 2007, she was taken away and locked in Nanjing Brainwashing Center for five months. On May 15, 2011, she was kidnapped again and tortured in a brainwashing center located inside Jiajia Hotel in Qixia District. On November 6, 2012, Ms. Zhang was taken away and locked in a brainwashing center. On May 29, 2013, she was arrested again and her family threatened.

The authorities have repeatedly arrested and tormented Ms. Zhang simply for her belief. Her family, especially her husband, has been placed under tremendous pressure by the possibility of the next intrusion hanging over their heads. Her husband is often seen crying softly and has little interest in eating. The authorities have also harassed Ms. Zhang's daughter and granddaughter relentlessly, and they live in constant fear.
