Additional Persecution News from China – February 11, 2014 (8 Reports)

(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes persecution that took place in 8 cities or counties in 6 provinces. According to this report, 4 practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during detention, and at least 7 practitioners were illegally arrested.

1. [Chifeng, Inner Mongolia] Ms. Song Guilian and Mr. Bai Yanbin Arrested

Elderly Ms. Song Guilian was arrested when she distributed calendars with information about Falun Gong on November 25, 2013. She was released after being held at the Keqi Detention Center for five days.

Mr. Bai Yanbin was arrested on December 5, 2013. The police ransacked his father's home and took away Falun Dafa books, some small speakers and Falun Gong materials. Mr. Bai was released on December 20, 2013 after being held at the Keqi Detention Center for 15 days.

2. [Jinan, Shandong Province] Ms. Cai Diyun Detained

Ms. Cai Diyun from Xinglongzhuang, Jinan was arrested by officers from the Zhonggong Police Station at the end of January 2013. She was taken to the Jinan Detention Center.

3. [Duchang County, Jiangxi Province] Mr. Liu Qiusheng and Mr. Yin Yucai Detained

Mr. Liu Qiusheng, in his 40s, and Mr. Yin Yucai, in his 80s, were arrested by Wu Henghua and other local policemen when they spoke to people about Falun Gong on January 13, 2014. They are being held at the Duchang Detention Center.

Ms. Zhao Jingzhen was taken to the Jinqiao Neighborhood Office in Dadong District when she talked to people about Falun Gong on February 8, 2014.

5. [Suining, Sichuan Province] Ms. Li Ning Arrested

Ms. Li Ning, 70, was taken to the Yucailu Police Station by the local police when she spoke to people about Falun Gong on February 10, 2014. She was released that day.

6. [Hanzhou, Zhejiang Province] Ms. Xi Shujuan Arrested

Ms. Xi Shujuan was arrested on January 20, 2014.

7. [Guan County, Shandong Province] Additional Information about the Arrest of Ms. Yin Guifeng

Ms. Yin Guifeng and another practitioner were arrested by officers from the Yanzhuang Township Police Station when they posted Falun Gong flyers at noon on January 30, 2014. Another practitioner managed to walk away as a result of maintaining righteous thoughts. Ms. Yin is being held at the Nanhuan Detention Center in Liaocheng.

8. [Zhangqiu, Shandong Province] Ms. Li Daozhen Arrested

Ms. Li Daozhen from Zibo, Shandong Province went to the Weishan tourist site in Shengjing, Zhangqiu to clarify the facts about Falun Gong on the afternoon of February 5, 2014. She was arrested and taken to the Shengjing Police Station. Her son picked her up an hour later.
