(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 13 cities or counties in 9 provinces. According to this report, 9 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 9 practitioners were illegally arrested.

1. [Wuchang City, Heilongjiang Province] Three Practitioners Arrested
Ms. Qiao Huimei, Ms. Cao Hong, and Ms. Chang Momo from Anjia Town were arrested on December 8, 2014, by officers from the Anjia Town Police Station for distributing informational materials about Falun Gong. They are being held in the Wuchang Detention Center.

2. [Songyuan City, Jilin Province] Ms. Wang Li Sentenced to Seven and a Half Years in Prison
Ms. Wang Li was arrested on March 27, 2014, and sentenced to a seven and a half year prison term on July 29. She was taken to the Jilin Province Women's Prison on November 19, 2014.
3. [Nenjiang County, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Wang Yanyou Arrested
The police searched Mr. Wang Yanyou's store on the afternoon of December 8, 2014. Two printers, a notebook computer, and six cell phones were confiscated. Mr. Wang was arrested and taken to the Nenjiang County Detention Center.

4. [Hefei City, Anhui Province] Ms. Lu Na Detained
Ms. Lu Na remains in custody at the City No. 2 Detention Center.
5. [Xiangyang City, Hubei Province] Mr. Cheng Gang Sentenced to Three Years in Prison
Mr. Cheng Gang, 38, was arrested in late July 2014 for distributing materials about Falun Gong. He was taken to the Shun'anshan Police Station. His family took him home that night. Mr. Cheng heard that Xiangyang City Court officials had sentenced him to three years in prison on November 20, 2014.
Mr. Cheng went to the court on the morning of December 3 to tell the judges the facts about Falun Gong. He was taken to the Xiangyang City Detention Center. He was taken to Shayang Prison in Hubei Province the following day.
6. [Nanyang City, Henan Province] Mr. Liu Qingyuan Arrested
Mr. Liu Qingyuan was arrested in Nanyang City on December 2, 2014.
7. [Neijiang City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Tan Degang Hospitalized
Mr. Tan Degang, in his 30s, was held in Jiazhou Prison in Leshan. He developed cirrhosis of the liver as a result of torture and was taken to the Shuangliu Police Hospital in Chengdu.
8. [Songyuang City, Jilin Province] Mr. Qu Jun Arrested
Mr. Qu Jun from Hongguang Farm, Baiyilaga Township, was arrested on December 8, 2014. He is being held in a detention center.
9. [Jinxian County, Jiangxi Province] Ms. Wan Taoying Sentenced to Prison
Ms. Wan Taoying was arrested by Domestic Security Division officers on April 30, 2013. She was recently sentenced to three years in prison by the Jinxian County Court. She was taken to Jiangxi Province Women's Prison in late November 2014.
10. [Gaoan City, Jiangxi Province] Three Practitioners Sentenced to Three Years in Prison
Mr. Wang Silong, Mr. Zhu Jianying, and Mr. Zhu Xiaoteng from Cunqian Village were arrested by officers from the Xinzhuang Police Station, Yifeng County, on February 25, 2014. They were tried in the Yifeng County Court on October 16, 2014. Each man was sentenced to three years in prison.
11. [Daming County, Hebei Province] Ms. Xu Zengxia Detained
Ms. Xu Zengxia from Guan County, Shandong Province, was arrested by officers from the Daming County Domestic Security Division on December 8, 2014. She was taken to the Daming County Detention Center.
12. [Jiayuguan City, Gansu Province] Ms. Li Zhaoying Arrested
Ms. Li Zhaoying, 74, was arrested by Jiayuguan City police in late October 2014.
13. [Tianjin] Ms. Liu Xiaogui Missing
Ms. Liu Xiaogui has been missing since 2006. No one has since heard from her.
14. [Yichang City, Hubei Province] Mr. Yan Yutao Arrested
Mr. Yan Yutao was arrested recently.

15. [Luzhou City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Tang Minghai Sentenced to Prison
Ms. Tang Minghai, a 66-year-old resident of Luzhou City, was sentenced to four years on December 8 for practicing Falun Gong. The verdict did not indicate the actual trial date. The supposedly public trial was scheduled for November 7 but was held without her family's knowledge or any legal representation. Ms. Tang remains in Naxi Detention Center.
16. [Handan City, Hebei Province] Mr. Song Zhenhai's Sentence Returned to Lower Court
Mr. Song Zhenhai was sentenced to three years in prison for distributing Shen Yun Performing Arts DVDs by Linzhang County Court in November 2014.
He appealed the sentence to Handan Intermediate Court. The intermediate court recently rejected the verdict, returned it to the lower court, and demanded a re-trial.

17. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Ms. Ma Hongjiao Sentenced to Prison
After eight months of illegal detention, Ms. Ma Hongjiao was recently sentenced to three and a half years in prison. Her family was kept in the dark about the trial and sentence.
Ms. Ma was arrested with two other practitioners for talking to people about Falun Gong in April 2014. After being transferred to Jilin Detention Center in early May, she was denied the right to contact her family. Upon learning that she had been forced to do slave labor, her family was very worried about her health.

18. [Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Sun Bo Still Detained
It has been three months since Ms. Sun Bo was tried in the Tianhe District Court on August 29, 2014, and the verdict has yet to be announced, and Ms. Sun is still in the Guangzhou No. 1 Detention Center.
Ms. Sun's husband, who saw her during the trial, said that she appeared emaciated. He worries that she might be being tortured and under tremendous pressure in the detention center.
