(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes persecution that took place in 15 cities or counties in 8 provinces. According to this report, 5 practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during detention, at least 24 practitioners were illegally arrested.

1. [Sanming, Fujian Province] Ms. Xie Guirong Detained

Ms. Xue Guirong was arrested by officers from the Meilei District Domestic Security Division in July 2014. She is still being held.

2. [Nongan County, Jilin Province] Three Practitioners Arrested

Mr. Wang Minghui from Halahai Town was arrested and his home was ransacked on the afternoon of October 13, 2014. Mr. Wang Hongkui and Ms. Zhang Wanqian were arrested at the same time. The two practitioners have been released.

3. [Bengbu, Anhui Province] Ms. Zhao Min Detained

Ms. Zhao Min was arrested at work on September 29, 2014. She was taken to the Second Detention Center by domestic security agents.

4. [Changchun, Jilin Province] Mr. Zhang Hong Detained

Mr. Zhang Hong from the Erdao District was followed and arrested when he recently distributed flyers about Falun Gong. He is being held at the Weizigou Detention Center.

5. [Yueyang County, Hunan Province] Mr. Chen Peiyuan Detained

Officers from the Yueyang Domestic Security and the Raocun Police Station arrested Mr. Chen Peiyuan on October 16, 2014. He was taken to the Yueyang Detention Center.

6. [Yangchun, Guangdong Province] Ms. Qiu Ailian Detained

Officers from the Hongqi Police Station arrested Ms. Qiu Ailian on October 14, 2014. She was taken to the Yangchun Drug Rehabilitation Center.

7. [Panjin, Liaoning Province] Ms. Li Yan and Ms. Li Guiling Detained

Ms. Li Yan and Ms. Li Guiling from Liaohe Oil Field were arrested by officers from the Gaosheng Police Department for talking to people about Falun Gong at a farmers market in Gaosheng on the morning of October 20, 2014. They were taken to the Third Detention Center.

8. [Zhangjiakou, Hebei Province] Two Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Wen Xueqin and Ms. Yang Wai from Qiaoxi were arrested by officers from the Shenjiatun Police Station when they went out to talk to people about Falun Gong on the morning of October 16, 2014. Ms. Yang has been released. Ms. Wen was transferred to the Shisanli Detention Center.

9. [Yongji County, Jilin Province] Ms. Liu Shuzhen Detained

Ms. Liu Shuzhen from Beidahu Town was followed and arrested at home on October 15, 2014 after she distributed flyers about Falun Gong. The police confiscated Falun Gong books and calendars with information about the practice. Ms. Liu is being held at the Shulan Brainwashing Center.

10. [Jilin, Jilin Province] Ms. Li Yuhua Detained

Officers from the Hadawan Police Station arrested Ms. Li Yuhua on the afternoon of October 16, 2014. Her home was also ransacked. Ms. Li was taken to the detention center.

11. [Dalian, Liaoning Province] Ms. Ren Liyao Arrested

Ms. Ren Liyao from Shahekou was arrested by the Shahekou police on October 20, 2014. Her home was ransacked.

12. [Fushun, Liaoning Province] Ms. Zhao Honglian and Mr. Yang Chenghuan Sentenced

Ms. Zhao Honglian from the Dongzhou District was arrested on January 6, 2014. She was sentenced to 3.5 years' imprisonment and transferred to the Liaoning Women's Prison in July 2014.

Mr. Yang Chenghuan from Ajingou, Dongzhou, Fushun, was arrested on October 5, 2013, for distributing flyers about Falun Gong. He was sentenced to 4 years in prison.

13. [Nanjin, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Lao Fu Arrested

Ms. Lao Fu was arrested on October 10, 2014.

14. [Nanjing, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Zong Hua Detained

Ms. Zong Hua, an eye doctor, was arrested by officers from the Zhongshanling Police Station for talking to people about Falun Gong on September 29, 2014. She was held in the Shifosi Detention Center for 15 days and then transferred to the Gulou District Brainwashing Center.

15. [Changde, Hunan Province] Seven Practitioners Detained

Mr. Sun Hua, Ms. Jiang Sanjie, Ms. Feng Ping, Ms. Xiao Guixian, Ms. Zhou Minjun, Ms. Gui Hua, and Ms. Xin Yu were arrested by officers from the Suojie Police Station in Shimen County on October 13, 2014, for distributing flyers about Falun Gong. The seven practitioners are being held at the Shimen Detention Center.

Mr. Sun's home was ransacked. The police confiscated his laptop, printer, paper, USB drive and removable hard drive, and other items.

16. [Beijing] Mr. Wang Pingan and Ms. Pan Qin Detained

Mr. Wang Pingan and Ms. Pan Qin from Shijingshan were reported to the police and arrested by officers from the Badachu Police Station on October 7, 2014. The two practitioners were taken to the Wulitun Detention Center.

Ms. Pan's home was ransacked. The police confiscated a laptop, two printers, three MP3 players, and Falun Dafa books.

The police also ransacked Mr. Wang's home and confiscated his laptop, Falun Dafa books, and other items.

17. [Jinzhou, Liaoning Province] Mr. Jiang Haijin and Ms. Xu Yajuan Detained

Mr. Jiang Haijin and Ms. Xu Yajuan were arrested by officers from the Shiqiaozi Police Station in the Linghe District of Jinzhou on the afternoon of October 11, 2014. The two practitioners were taken to the Jinzhou Detention Center.
