Additional Persecution News from China – December 25, 2013 (10 Reports)

(Minghui.org) Today's News from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 10 cities or counties in 9 provinces. According to this report, 5 practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 10 practitioners were illegally arrested.

1. [Songyuan, Jilin Province] Four More Practitioners Arrested

Mr. Sun Peng, his wife Ms. Wang Yue, and a 70-year-old practitioner were arrested by officers from Songyuan City Domestic Security Division on the afternoon of December 21, 2013.

The police ransacked the couple's home and confiscated their Dafa books, computer, printer, informational materials, cash, and 10,000 yuan with Falun Gong messages printed on them. They also arrested Mr. Liu Yuliang who was at Mr. Sun's home at the time.

Three of practitioners are being held at the Songyuan City Detention Center. The elderly practitioner was released.

Mr. Liu Haibo was arrested by officers from the Maodian Police Station when he clarified the truth on December 23, 2013.

Ms. Wu Zhengzheng was arrested on December 5, 2013. She is being held at the Taicang Detention Center.

4. [Wenfang, Shandong Province] Ms. Zhao Xingmei Incarcerated in Brainwashing Center

Ms. Zhao Xingmei from Hanjiabu Village was arrested and taken to the Liujiayao Brainwashing Center on July 8, 2013. She escaped that night. She was arrested again and taken to a brainwashing center on October 14.

5. [Pingquan County, Hebei Province] Ms. Liu Yulan Held in Police Custody

When Ms. Liu Yulan from Qijiadai Village, Qijiadai Township, went to process her son's residential registration at the police station on the morning of December 18, 2013, she was taken into custody by Wang Baijun, head of the police station.

6. [Shenzhen, Guangdong Province] Ms. Bao Xuwen Arrested

Ms. Bao Xuwen was arrested by Shenzhen City Railroad police on December 12, 2013.

7. [Fengcheng, Liaoning Province] Ms. An Min Arrested

Ms. An Min from Liujiahe Township was arrested by officers Li Guanghui and Han Qianxi from Liujiahe Township Police Station on the morning of December 23, 2013, when she was distributing truth clarifying materials. That afternoon, she was sent to Fengcheng.

8. [Dazhou, Sichuan Province] Mr. Hu Xiaojiang Detained

Mr. Hu Xiaojiang was arrested on the morning of November 20, 2013. Police took his Dafa books and cash. Mr. Hu is detained in Wanyuan City No.1 Detention Center.

9. [Huitong County, Hunan Province] Two Practitioners Detained

Ms. Zhang Changying, Ms. Xiang Dongmei, and a senior couple were arrested by officers from Lianshan Township Police Station on December 20, 2013. The elderly practitioners were released on December 22. Ms. Zhang and Ms. Xiang are still being held in Huitong Detention Center.
