(Minghui.org) As a middle-age woman, I suffered from several illnesses, including coronary heart disease, insomnia, puerperal fever, allergy to ultraviolet light, cervical pain, etc. I was often not able to stand up straight, my chest felt heavy, and I would gasp for air after climbing only several floors.
My situation did not improve after all kinds of hospital treatments. I wondered when these years of suffering and deprivation would end.
First Miracle – I Became Free of Illness
I was introduced to Falun Gong in 2011. I was curious why the government would forbid people to practice it if it was so good. Then I took two months to read all the articles and books by Master and found my answer. Falun Gong, also called Falun Dafa, is an advanced practice based on the Buddha school teachings, and not as described by the Chinese Communist Party. I then decided to practice Falun Gong.
I surprisingly noticed that I no longer felt itchy after being exposed to the sun in May 2011. I had recovered from my allergy to ultraviolet light. Several months later, all the other illnesses were completely gone. I was free of illness and energetic and very excited to be healthy.
Second Miracle – Of a Family Member
My brother-in-law was hospitalized due to a cerebral hemorrhage on October 9, 2011. Since he had a class-four subarachnoid hemorrhage that was caused by a cerebral aneurysm, he could not have surgery until October 12. Based on the seriousness of the situation, his doctor claimed that he might die during the surgery. Even if he survived, he had a high chance of being in a vegetative state. It was a devastating blow for the family.
My brother-in-law was already in an operating room when we arrived at the hospital. I encouraged all the family (except my sister, who did not believe in Buddha) to sincerely recite, “Falun Dafa is good” and “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.” Six hours later he was transferred to a recovery room after one-third of his skull was removed and the cerebral hemorrhage stopped bleeding.
The following day, his doctor said that he might need another surgery to detect where the blood was coming from after a CT examination. We all knew that the second surgery would cause more damage to his brain. This time, my sister was taken into a corner and asked to accept my suggestion to recite sincerely with others, “Falun Dafa is good” and “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.” Afterwards, a miracle indeed occurred. The second surgery went very smoothly.
Doctor Agreed It Was a Miracle
We saw that the severe swelling in his face had disappeared on October 15, and his ability to think returned to normal. All of us agreed that this was a miracle and said, “It will take several days for such swelling in the head to disappear, even if it had been caused by a light wound. For a patient like my brother-in-law, with one third of his skull removed, his recovery within only two days was surprisingly amazing.” His main doctor also said that it was a miracle.
He was transferred to a local hospital on October 19. He was incapable of speaking and had no use of his left arm and leg. I said to him, “You might not be able to speak other words, but you should say these words, and nothing can stop you!” I then encouraged him to follow along with me, saying word by word, “Falun Dafa is good,” Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.”
I can vividly remember the occurrence: at first he looked around, then moved his head toward me, moved his larynx several times, swallowed saliva, and then said it along with me several times. I could feel how excited the other family members were. My sister was very excited and said, “He is hospitalized because he cannot speak. Since he can talk now, let's take him out of the hospital!”
It was time for him to have a follow-up surgery in February 2013. The doctor did not find any membrane on his cut, which should have been put in for future recovery. The membrane is expensive, about 10,000 yuan a piece. We understood that the surgeon did not put it in two years ago to spare us some of the expense. This means that my brother-in-law was in such a critical condition that even the doctors thought the chances that he could be saved were minimal.
Today nobody can detect that my brother-in-law had such a severe surgery. His thinking, language, and movement abilities are all normal.
