(Minghui.org) The head of Jianghan District Brainwashing Center in Wuhai City, Qu Shen, is known for persecuting Falun Gong practitioners. There are several reports on the Minghui website documenting his crimes.
The Jianghn District Brainwashing Center was recently relocated to a two-story building, which was previously the Caidian District Gardening Bureau. Qu Shen has repeatedly insulted, cursed, physically abused, tortured, and beaten practitioners.
Qu used to be a bailiff at the Jianghan Procuratorate. After the persecution of Falun Gong began, he was transferred to the Jianghan District 610 Office. Over the past ten plus years, he has actively participated in the persecution of over 100 practitioners. He was rewarded for his crimes and promoted.
Qu also recruited and trained Yang Qiong, He Li, Yang Xiuzhen, and others to work for him in persecuting practitioners. They were paid well and very brutal.
Mr. Huang Zhaojin was taken to the brainwashing center in September 2013. Although he was almost 70 years old, Qu ordered one of his subordinates to abuse him. Mr. Huang was deprived of food, water, and sleep and was not allowed to take a shower for long periods of time. He was also forced to stand, sometimes from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Once when Mr. Huang was exhausted from standing for so long, four staff members surrounded him. They held him tightly, grabbed his arm, put a pen in his hand, and tried to force him to write words that defamed Falun Gong. Mr. Huang strongly resisted. The head of the security team stabbed Mr. Huang with the pen and then slapped him in the face. They tortured him until he was very weak and lost consciousness.
At around midnight, a member of staff named Sun, who was drunk at the time, found Mr. Huang on the ground and pulled him up. He shouted at him, saying that he had the power to confiscate his home and all of his family's money and that he could also kill them.
Ms. Wang Yan, 23, from Huangmei County in Hubei was taken to the brainwashing center with another practitioner in October 2013. She has been tortured to the verge of death.
Qu Shen tried to sexually assault Ms. Wang several times. He pretended to be drunk and came to her cell wearing only his underwear.
We ask that Qu Shen and his subordinates stop their crimes immediately.
