(Minghui.org) The Heshan District Police Department in Hebi City, Henan Province has detained Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Wang Kuangsheng for more than a year. They are trying to frame him but have been intimidated by Mr. Wang's attorney, so they are now harassing Mr. Wang's family instead.
Mr. Wang worked for the Ninth Coal Mine in Heshan. Li Qingzhou of the Heshan District Police Department and the director of the Security Department at the coal mine ordered Ma Aijun and Zhang Guolin from the police department, and Wang Jianjun from the Domestic Security Division, to arrest Mr. Wang on his way to work on November 29, 2012.
The Heshan District Court and Procuratorate returned the case to the police department for apparent lack of evidence. However, the police department continued detaining him. The court president, Li Guihong, did not try Mr. Wang on October 16, 2013, as scheduled.
Police Threaten Family Not to Hire an Attorney
Officer Sun Guobin, from the Luzhai Police Station of the Heshan District Police Department (police ID 047743), harassed Mr. Wang's family at 11:00 a.m. on November 26, 2013. The officer demanded that they provide additional information.
Officer Zhang Mancang from the Domestic Security Division, and Shang Longying from the Heshan District Police Department, warned the family not to hire the attorney on November 27. The family was threatened that things would get worse if the attorney continued to be involved. The officers even claimed that the attorney was not allowed to discuss the facts of Falun Gong, and was not allowed to plead not-guilty for practitioners.
Feng Yunping from the Heshan District Police Department, along with Shang Longying and Zhang Mancang, harassed Mr. Wang's family again on December 3, 2013. Zhang Mancang claimed that they would arrest his wife, “She is in poor health. We will carry her to the police department!”
Zhang Mancang Responsible
Zhang Mancang is the captain of the Domestic Security Division of the Hebi City Police Department. He is active in persecuting practitioners.
Zhang was responsible for the arrests of practitioner Mr. Cheng Jijun, his wife, and two-year-old son. According to witnesses, Zhang and about four police officers also ransacked Mr. Cheng's home before taking him and his family to the Security Division of the Second Mine of Hebi City at around 10:00 a.m. on November 12, 2013.
Zhang lives in the Heyou Residential District, in the Qibin District of Hebi City. Those who know him say, “Zhang Mancang only arrests innocent practitioners. He dares not arrest a single thief.”
Zhang Mancang was once arrested by his supervisor for drunk driving. He was detained for several days and beaten up by gang members. He is so evil that no one in the police department wants to associate with him.
