1. Thyroid Tumors Disappear
There are so many examples on the Minghui website of people who have been rewarded because of their kind thoughts toward Falun Dafa. I would like to share with you my personal story.
My boss often went to the Party secretary of my company to speak up for me while I was detained after appealing for Falun Gong in Beijing. She said, “Falun Gong practitioners are honest and kind. They work hard and take responsibility. It is best not to listen to the order from above and don't harm them.” The Party secretary followed her advice. She also chatted to other Party members and said, “I don't know how you people got promoted to your senior positions. I think Falun Gong people should give you lessons on how to behave.”
I went to see her one day during the SARS epidemic. She looked pale and was not in a good mood. I asked her if something was wrong. She said that she went for a physical, and they found two tumors in her thyroid. She showed me the scan report with measurements of the tumors. She said that the big one was as big as a peanut and the small one was the size of a yellow bean. They had grown a bit over the past several days. She didn't dare to go to the hospital because she was afraid that she might contract SARS. She asked me what she should do and if she could learn Falun Gong from me. I replied, “Of course you can. Our Master will protect you because you have a positive attitude toward Dafa.” She nodded and was convinced. She wrote down the verses of the five sets of exercises. She read them with me once.
She called me 12 days later to thank me. I asked her why. She said, “I went for another scan. The big tumor was gone and the small one was as small as a pea.” (Later on the smaller one disappeared as well.) I told her that she was blessed because she treated Dafa and Dafa practitioners kindly. It was Master who had blessed her and I asked her to thank Master.
2. Section Leader Promoted after Protecting Dafa Practitioners
Officials from the 610 Office and officers from the local police department arrested and monitored Dafa practitioners during the Beijing Olympics. I was a key target for monitoring. Officials from departments at every level of government talked to me and prevented me from going home. I felt very sad because I was not able to study the Fa or do exercises under this circumstance. I worried about my elderly mother as well. I explained to them why I had to go home, but they yelled at me and didn't listen.
One section leader was sympathetic and shed tears because he thought I was mistreated. He went to see the head of the 610 Office and the Party secretary. He said to them, “She is the best technical person in our company and has good character. Let her go home. She has to look after her mother in her 80s. I will write a statement to guarantee that she will not be a threat to you. If she is, you can demote me and withdraw my CCP membership.”
I was released, but two groups of people were still stationed outside the building of my home to monitor me in turns. That section leader came to see me occasionally and I told him more about Falun Gong. I told him that he would be blessed for protecting Dafa and Dafa practitioners. He said to me jokingly, “Be blessed? Will I be promoted and have good fortune?” I laughed and said it was certainly possible. In less than six months, he was promoted and one year later he was promoted even higher. When he saw me again, he said, “Your prediction was correct!” I said that I hoped that he continued to be a good official and remember the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance.” He said happily, “I will certainly remember your words!”
3. Family Receives Apartment from Nowhere
A young couple with a child lived downstairs. They were very kind. I told them the truth about Falun Dafa and they withdrew from the CCP. I told them that it would be beneficial to them if they would often repeat, “Falun Dafa is good.”
The man saw people monitoring me during the Beijing Olympics and told me, “Please put all your Dafa books and other materials into one box and take it to my home.” I asked him, “Are you sure?” He said, “Not a problem. I am not afraid of them. I don't fear them at all. I am unemployed anyway.”
I didn't see him for quite some time. When I finally did, he said that he would be moving to the city. I asked him if he had bought an apartment there. He said, “No, I couldn't afford it. Heaven assigned the apartment to me.” He told me the following story.
The residence permit for his family was registered with his in-laws' family. The in-laws sold their apartment last year so he registered the residence permit with his brother's family. Not long after that, the building where his brother lived was demolished to be re-developed. The local Civil Affairs Bureau assigned two apartments to them, one for his brother and one for his family. He didn't believe it and thought it was a hoax, so he didn't go get the certificate. Finally his brother was notified and delivered the certificate to him. I told him that he was rewarded for his kindness toward Dafa practitioners because the Buddha Fa is boundless.
