(Minghui.org) In April 1998, I was diagnosed with rheumatic heart disease. My whole body swelled up. Two weeks later, although there was nothing to indicate that I was getting better, the doctor said that I could leave the hospital.
He told my family, “Take her home and take good care of her.” I had to take medicine every day. I thought, “My condition must be very serious.”
After I was sent home, I took both Western and Chinese medicine every day, but nothing helped. I lost all hope of ever getting better.
Hope Restored with Falun Dafa
My husband's second sister came to visit when she heard that I was very sick. She is a Falun Dafa practitioner and suggested that I try practicing, too.
The family gathered at my mother-in-law's home. More than ten family members went there, but since I was in so much pain, I stayed home. My condition was very bad; even sitting for ten minutes was a big challenge for me. I was so weak that I had to take a break after eating four dumplings.
Eventually, after taking some pain pills, I was able to come over to my mother-in-law's. As soon as I arrived, everyone said, “Try practicing Falun Dafa! Your sister-in-law used to have so many illnesses. Dafa healed her. You should also practice it.”
My sister-in-law took out the main book of Falun Dafa, Zhuan Falun, and showed it to me. She said, “As long as you sincerely cultivate yourself to become a better person, Master will help you.”
As soon as I opened the book and saw Master's image, my eyes felt dazzled. My sister-in-law asked, “How do you feel?” I said, “This isn't an ordinary photo. It's so vivid, like Master is right in front of me.” She said happily, “Perhaps you have a predestined relationship with Dafa. Master can help you!”
I thought, “Even the doctors in the hospital couldn't help me. How could I recover by reading a book?” I didn't believe it because at that time I didn't know much about Falun Dafa. However, I thought, “It doesn't hurt to read the book.” So, I took it home.
It was 6 p.m. when I came home. I didn't realize that Master had already started to purify my body.
Miraculous Recovery in Just Three Days
The next day, I started to read the book. At first I couldn't sit up. After sitting for just a few minutes, my chest and back were in great pain and I became too tired to even talk. I intuitively felt that I should treasure this book, and that lying down while reading it was disrespectful. Although at first I had a hard time understanding the content, I simply could not stop reading.
On the third morning after I began reading Zhuan Falun , I felt much better. My heartbeat had always been very irregular, with a pulse of over one hundred beats per minute. After my husband checked my pulse this time, he got so excited that he jumped up and down. He said, “Your heartbeat is normal now! Master is taking care of you!”
No words could express our excitement. All of my relatives, colleagues, neighbors and friends knew how sick I had been and that the doctors had given up on me and sent me home. After this day, they all witnessed the astonishing change in me and praised Falun Dafa. Some also decided to take up the practice.
I experienced significant physical changes after I began practicing Falun Dafa. When you have no illnesses, you can move around easily and feel very comfortable.
We lived on the fourth floor. Before I began practicing, I had to take several breaks as I climbed up the stairs. After I began practicing, my body felt so light that I felt as if I was flying instead of walking upstairs.
One day, my husband saw that I was going upstairs very quickly and tried to slow me down by grabbing my arm; he was afraid that I would overexert myself and become tired. Although he hung onto my arm, he wasn't able to stop me; instead, he ended up running along with me. I didn't feel that I was going fast at all – I felt very light and relaxed.
Master has given me a new life. I am determined to do well in my cultivation practice and become a qualified Dafa practitioner who meets Master's requirements, in order to repay Master's compassionate salvation.
My Whole Family Is Blessed
When I obtained the Fa, my whole family was blessed. Now, whenever they hear Falun Dafa being slandered by the Chinese communist regime and those who have been deceived by the regime's propaganda, they speak out and tell others the facts.
One day, my husband was hit by a cab on his way home. His head was slammed onto the front of the car, and then he fell to the ground. The cab driver was scared to death and wanted to take him to a hospital. However, my husband was fine and told the driver that it wasn't necessary to go to a hospital. Then the driver gave him some money to buy medicine, but my husband returned it. He told the driver to use the money to fix his cab instead.
In 2007, my son was diagnosed with two tumors in his pancreas and abdominal area. The abdominal tumor was removed via surgery. However, the doctor found that the tumor in his pancreas could not be touched or it would endanger his life.
The doctor said, “His pancreas isn't functioning well and all other organs are being affected, leading to a lack of adequate blood and oxygen supply to the head. His heart and kidneys are exhausted. In other words, he is in great danger.” However, my son believed in Dafa and often silently recited, “Falun Dafa is good!” He also listened to Master's lectures. Five years have passed, and he's fine. The doctor said it's a miracle that he has survived.
My second son works in a factory. His abdomen was hurt and he couldn't move. I helped him get up to do the meditation practice. He recited “Falun Dafa is good” and “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.” He could feel the rotation of the Falun and as though someone was healing the injured part of his body. Then he recovered! He didn't go to a hospital or take any medicine. Ten days later, he went back to work.
