(Minghui.org) Recently released Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Yang Chunling from Dalian, Liaoning Province, continues to be a victim of vicious reprisals by the CCP. She was given a seven-year prison term in 2005 for interrupting regular programming on cable TV in Liaoyang County and running the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party. Ms. Yang was incarcerated in the Laocan Ward of Liaoning Women's Prison.
During her imprisonment Ms. Yang refused to give up her belief in Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, so she was tortured physically and mentally. Guard Cong Zhuo ordered four inmates to beat Ms. Yang. They fractured her arms and made her lame in one leg, which still has not healed. Her 75-year-old father, who had depended on her for his care, was left on his own.
Ms. Yang was released this past March 11. She awaited her release under conditions of unimaginable pain and pressure. However, she never betrayed her conscience and never gave up her belief in Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. Prior to her release, her father was close to mental collapse.
Ms. Yang and her father have finally been reunited. However, just after her release, she became aware that she was being closely monitored and followed by local police and secret agents. Every time she went shopping, she was surrounded by agents sent to monitor her. She feels unsafe almost every minute of the day.
