(Minghui.org) Recently, officials from Tongcheng County 610 Office in Hubei Province gathered police and some unemployed people, who do not know the facts about Falun Gong, and led them to arrest Falun Gong practitioners Mr. Li Weiguo, Mr. Wang Xinqing, Ms. Li Yanhong, Mr. Hu Dongyuan and others.
Mr. Li Weiguo arrested but released as police fail to frame him
Mr. Li Weiguo, 62, from Beigang Town in Tongcheng was arrested at around 9 a.m. on July 22, 2013, when more than a dozen people broke into his home. They included the village Party secretary Li Youming, four to five agents from Tongcheng 610 Office and three staff from Beigang Police Station. They confiscated a stack of truth clarification materials and took Mr. Li to the hospital in Tongcheng for a physical exam. Their intent was to detain him, but the doctor told the officers that Mr. Li's physical condition was not good enough for detention. Mr. Li was taken to the detention center anyway, but the officials there refused to accept him because it was full.
Mr. Li was then handcuffed and taken to Wuli Police Station in the neighboring county. Only one female police officer was on duty and she couldn't make the decision to accept Mr. Li or not. An officer from the domestic security division then forced Mr. Li to put his fingerprint on a “bail” notice and let him go.
Lu Youming initiated the arrest of Mr. Li, and had reported Mr. Li to the authorities before. In April 27, 2008, Mr. Li was helping others to plant seeds in the field. Li Yingcan from Tongcheng Domestic Security Division and others arrested Mr. Li and confiscated Master's picture, Dafa books and other materials. Mr. Li was detained for 4 days. After he was released, Li Youming went to his home and told him that he report him to the police. Another three practitioners who have been to Mr. Li's home were also arrested and detained, because of Li Youming.
Mr. Wang Xinqing harassed
Officers from Juanshui Town Police Station in Tongcheng broke into Mr. Wang Xinqing's home at around 8 a.m. on July 22, 2013. His wife Ms. Hua Taofeng was downstairs and asked what they were trying to do. They replied that they were just looking around.
At this time, Mr. Wang came down and asked them what they were doing. They told Mr. Wang that he needed to go with them to take a physical exam. Mr. Wang ignored their demands and went back upstairs. These people followed him immediately. Mr. Wang quickly closed the stairwell security door. The police could not get in, so after quite a while they left saying that they will let it go this time.
Ms. Li Yanhong and Mr. Hu Dongyuan harassed
Ms. Li Yanhong from Juanshui Town in Tongcheng was harassed by officers from Tongcheng Police Station on July 22, 2013.
On the morning of July 25, 2013, Mr. Hu Dongyuan, 63, was arrested by officers from Juanshui Police Station. According to his neighbors, a group of people ripped off the banner with the words: “Trustfulness-Compassion-Forbearance”, from his door the day before. They told the neighbors to call them when Mr. Hu was at home.
