(Minghui.org) I am a 68-year-old farmer with limited education. I practice Falun Gong. I always carry materials containing important facts about Falun Gong with me, as well as Falun Gong amulets. I hand out these materials when I meet new people. I never miss family functions or important social events because they provide excellent opportunities for me to spread the truth about Falun Gong.
My family did not approve of Falun Gong at first because of the Chinese Communist regime's propaganda defaming the peaceful practice.
They now think highly of Falun Gong because I have been healthy for a decade. In fact, they are very supportive of Falun Gong.
My husband will cook when he sees that I am busy printing truth-clarification materials. My younger sister, my children and their spouses, and my grandchildren have been helping me hand out materials, hang banners with important messages about Falun Gong, and post flyers in public.
My son joked, “We have all become volunteers for your cause.”
My younger brother is a very popular traditional Chinese medical doctor. He tells some of his patients, “Why don't you practice Falun Gong? I was unable to cure my older sister when she was suffering from many different illnesses. She is now completely healthy because of Falun Gong. Why don't you give it a try?”
I would like to take this opportunity and thank Teacher for his grace and compassion. I would like to share a few stories about my family who have been blessed and protected because they believe Falun Gong is good.
My son is saved from a car crash
My entire family knows Falun Gong is good. My son does not practice Falun Gong, but he knows Falun Gong is good and treasures the Falun Gong keepsake that I gave him. He tells people he does business with, “I will not cheat you. Surely you have heard that Falun Gong teaches people to be good. You must have also heard it teaches the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. I know it is true because my mom practices it.” People trust my son and are happy to do business with him.
I would like to clarify that he does not mean to capitalize on the good reputation of Falun Gong, but to promote the good name of Falun Gong in this fashion. It also shows that he is very proud of me for practicing Falun Gong.
My family runs a taxi business. Two years ago a business owner and two of his employees took our taxi to Harbin for a business meeting. My son was the driver that day.
He was driving 70 miles an hour when the steering came off and he lost control of the car. The car headed for a tree on the side of the road. The business owner screamed, “Oh my goodness! We are done for!” My son froze in terror but the car abruptly came to a halt just as before it hit the tree. Everyone in the car was safe.
It took him days to recover from the shock. He said, “I would have died if it had not been for Falun Dafa's Master Li looking out for me.”
A man survived shock from power lines
Xiao Tao is my son-in-law's nephew. He is unable to read Falun Gong truth-clarification materials because he never had any education and cannot read.
Yet he knows Falun Gong is good. He enjoys listening to stories about Falun Gong and he wears a Falun Gong amulet around his neck. He is a good man with good work ethics. He works at a local quarry and never gripes about his assignments.
The accident happened in October 2009. He was told to move a metal pipe over six feet long. He wanted to stand it up and carry it on his shoulder. But the pipe was so close to a utility pole that when he stood it up, the magnetism in the power lines grabbed the pipe. Instantly, a surge of electricity ran through Xiao Tao. The pipe was stuck to the utility pole with Xiao Tao still hanging onto it.
By the time the pipe was separated from the utility pole, Xiao Tao was barely alive. His boss hurried him to Harbin No. 5 Hospital. Xiao Tao's face and body had turned black. There was blood coming out of his ears, nose, eyes, and mouth. There was a hole at the bottom of one foot. His arms and legs were misshapen. The physician managed to stop the bleeding and keep him alive, but he told his family never to take their eyes off him throughout the night. He told his family to page him immediately if his veins started to burst, which was exactly what happened. One after another his veins burst open. He was in critical condition for two weeks.
During those weeks, my daughter (Xiao Tao's aunt) would repeat “Falun Gong is good” next to his ears. When he opened his eyes, he took out the Falun Gong amulet from his shirt pocket with his able arm. He looked at it, considered it, and put it back. I suppose he knew it was Falun Gong that saved his life. My daughter told him to repeat “Falun Gong is good” in his heart and that he will be fine. Xiao Tao said he would.
After a month, the doctor decided that to save Xiao Tao's life he would need to amputate the injured leg. Xiao Tao burst into tears when he heard. “My life will be over if I lose a leg! I am still young. I am only 26.”
“You will be okay. The founder of Falun Gong will protect you,” my daughter told him.
“I believe you,” Xiao Tao replied.
After observing his condition for a while, the doctor told his family he would do the amputation the following week. Many concerned relatives and friends came to the hospital to support him and his family. On the day of the surgery, the doctor checked his leg again and exclaimed, “How did you recover so fast? Let's keep you under observation for a few more days. We might not need to take your leg off after all.”
Eventually the doctor announced that Xiao Tao could keep his leg, but he would have to remove his big toe. Two months later, the doctor announced that Xiao Tao could keep his big toe, too. He checked out of the hospital right before the Chinese New Year.
The doctor commented, “You were hit with more than 10,000 volts of electricity. Very few patients with such a severe injury survive. You are a living miracle. It is incredible.”
My son-in-law is saved from a crash with a farm wagon
Xiao Chen Zi is married to my oldest daughter. He'd had a hernia from the time he was little, because his family couldn't afford to have it surgically corrected. He was in excruciating pain each time the intestine protruded into his chest cavity through a defect in the diaphragm. As he got older, it happened almost every other day, especially when he exerted himself physically. I didn't know about it until two years ago, when he told me he planned to have a surgery.
I told him, “You know Falun Gong is good. If you repeat 'Falun Gong is good' and follow Falun Gong's principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, my Teacher will watch over you.” He followed my advice and soon he found himself completely healed. He has not had any symptom of hernia for two years.
Xiao Chen Zi collects waste for recycling for a living. He travels from village to village and from door to door. I would give him dozens of Shen Yun Performing Arts DVDs. He would give them for free to the households with a DVD player. He would tell them, “I have just been given this DVD. (It's true. He got them from me.) It has performances inspired by the 5000 years of Chinese traditional culture. It is supposed to be very good. I will give it to you since you have a DVD player.” Sometimes he accidentally gave a DVD to the same household because he could not remember which households he had given them to. They told him, “You gave me one already. I have watched it. It is really good.” He told me this when he came home.
Xiao Chen Zi prints important messages about Falun Gong on the currency he has available to him. At first his customers did not want to accept such bills. He would tell them, “Looks like the news have not traveled to your village. These days everyone uses money with such messages on them. See? These are new bills. You will be blessed if you use bills with these messages. Take a look at them and you will see.” Now all of his customers are willing to accept paper bills with Falun Gong messages.
He was riding on a pedicab on his birthday two years ago when the pedicab failed to stop on top of a steep hill and sent him down backwards. His head was about to hit the sharp edge of a farmer's wagon parked at the foot of the hill when the pedicab flipped and saved his head from hitting the wagon.
His body hit the wagon, but his head was untouched and unscathed. When he came to, he said he felt someone had pushed him away from the wagon. He might have died if his head had hit the sharp edge of the wagon.
He told people it was the founder of Falun Gong that had saved his life, and of course he truly believed that this was the case.
My daughter's fortune reversed after protecting a Falun Gong practitioner
My youngest daughter, Xue Er Fei, used to be perfectly healthy, but she developed lower back pain after she got married. It got worse after her baby was born. She couldn't even walk with a straight back. She eventually became bedridden.
She went to Hongqiao Hospital in Harbin and was diagnosed with lumbar disc herniation and lumbar canal stenosis. The doctor told her that she needed surgery, but she and her husband did not have enough savings to pay for it. She and her husband would save up a little money, but the money always ran out quickly when someone in the family got sick. It went on like that for a few years.
Xue Er Fei and her family live right next to the local police station. When the persecution on Falun Gong peaked in China, she heard a dog barking outside one night and got up to see what was going on. She found a man squatting inside the fence. It was a Falun Gong practitioner. He had been arrested and sentenced to two years of forced labor for practicing Falun Gong. He managed to escape from the police, but he did not know where to go in the middle of the night, so he hid inside her fence.
She hid the practitioner inside her house and protected him from the police. The police showed up and searched the area, but she was not scared.
From that night on she began to get better. She is now completely healthy. She hasn't needed to see the doctor for seven years. In fact, her family have been perfectly healthy as well. They eventually saved enough for a real estate investment. They now own a very profitable factory.
Xue Er Fei said, “No one knows better than I do that Falun Gong is good. Falun Gong saves people. The Buddha light now shines on my family.”
My grandson survived drug poisoning
My newly wed grandson Xiao Hang complained about leg pain after he had a drink with his old school friends in July 2009. He bought some pain medicine for his legs. In less than 30 minutes he started to feel nauseated and weak. He collapsed in bed and was unable to move. He was taken to a hospital and diagnosed with drug poisoning. The doctor urged his family to transfer him to a county hospital.
His mother, aunt, and wife were with him on the way to the hospital. Xiao Hang stopped breathing after only 10 miles. Everyone else in the car was frightened and started to cry. They pressed some acupuncture points in an attempt to resuscitate him and kept shouting his name. Xiao Hang started breathing again. He came to and said, “Ghosts really do exist. They are choking my neck. I cannot breathe.” Then he stopped breathing again. Everyone was in chaos.
Xiao Hang then suddenly started breathing and came to again. He shouted, “Save me, Teacher of Falun Gong!” His family was reminded of what they should do. They kept shouting, “Falun Gong is good!” His aunt removed a Falun Gong amulet from her neck and put it on him. They repeated “Falun Gong is good” all the way to the hospital.
The doctor checked him out and said, “Everything is normal. He is perfectly healthy. What drug poisoning are you talking about?”
Xiao Hang told his family what he had seen. He said he saw terrible things. He saw family members that had passed away. Some tried to protect him, but others tried to kill him. They also told him to do things for them when he came back.
Xiao Hang said, “I am under the protection of Falun Gong. I will not do the will of ghosts.” It has been two years. He is perfectly well and has never been haunted by any ghost. His family and friends have learned that Falun Gong is good because of this incident.
My family and I have truly been blessed with Falun Gong.
