(Minghui.org) Many Chinese people have received phone calls from Falun Gong practitioners overseas. Why do the practitioners make these calls? What do they want to tell people? What makes them try to reach out to the Chinese people?
Ms. Chen is a 27-year-old Falun Gong practitioner. She recently joined a team and worked with practitioners in Queensland, Australia to call people in China and tell them the facts about Falun Gong and the persecution. They spend time every day making calls. They also help people quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations.
A Young Lady Makes Calls to Save Her Fellow Chinese
Ms. Chen came to Australia from China a few years ago, and she now works as a salesperson. Like other practitioners, she makes use of her free time to tell people about the persecution and the truth about Falun Gong. So she joined a team effort to make phone calls to people in China.
Why did she join the team? Ms. Chen said, “I think that, as a Chinese myself, I should let people know what is going on in China, especially regarding the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners.”
Why do people in China need to know the truth about Falun Gong? Ms. Chen replied, “The Chinese Communist Party defames Falun Gong using propaganda. Millions of innocent practitioners have been persecuted, and many families have been broken. The Chinese people are bearing hardships under the rule of the CCP. When we were young, we swore facing the red flag that we would fight for the Communist Party for our entire lives. That is why we are having so many tribulations.
The disasters in China are the result of the CCP committing so many wrongdoings against heaven and earth. We make calls to tell people that they don't have to remain in danger. In ancient Chinese culture, it was said that good people will be blessed by heaven. We encourage them to quit any organizations affiliated with the CCP so that they will be out of danger.”
I Let Go of My Competitiveness After Practicing Dafa
Ms. Chen started to practice Falun Gong in 1998. She used to be a tough lady and always wanted to be recognized. However, after reading Falun Gong's teachings, she realized that competing and fighting with others harmed herself as well as other people. Moreover, it causes the moral standard to decline.
She said, “I dreamed of being a strong woman when I was little. I thought that a strong woman would be recognized, so I often fought and competed with others. After I began practicing Dafa, I discovered that being this strong person makes you lose something precious. You will lose your good morals. The more you fight, the further away you move from your true self. While reading Master's books, I let go of competitiveness and became humble and tolerant. Compassion makes me strong inside.”
We Are Linked with Each Other by the Heart to Save People
When asked how the team was formed, Ms. Chen said that it was formed because everyone wanted to save the Chinese people. “It seems like there was a force that pushed us to form the group. Everyone of us has the heart to save people. Many members talk to Chinese tourists in Chinatown and the Gold Coast during the daytime. At night, they make phone calls to people in China. I think they are doing a great job.”
Ms. Chen said, “We are like a big family. We encourage each other to do better every day.”
“Thank you for telling me the true facts”
Since the CCP launched the persecution of Falun Gong in 1999, practitioners worldwide have been trying their best to tell people the true facts about Falun Gong. Ms. Chen said that many people are thankful after hearing the facts.
“We have many touching stories. For example, a person thanked us for letting him know the covered-up truth. They also share it with their families and friends.”
Three years ago, an incident in Brisbane's Chinatown impressed Ms. Chen. “There were two Chinese students shopping. I advised them to quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations. I also said that Falun Gong practitioners do things according to the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. Master asks us to look inward during conflicts, and to be selfless. There are few people like that in China now. The CCP has destroyed the ancient principles of Humaneness, Righteousness, Propriety, Knowledge, and Integrity. It has replaced them with the ideology of Marxism and Communism. People no longer trust each other. We have lost our roots. I hope they quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations.” They happily agreed.
Ms. Chen said, “One of them said that he had a problem and didn't know what to do. He was studying cuisine. He thought it was unfair that his teacher was always dissatisfied with his dishes. I suggested that he follow Falun Dafa's principles to deal with it. I told him, 'Use your heart to cook the best dish you can for your teacher. If you do it with your heart, your teacher will feel it. It is fine to be wronged. In ancient Chinese culture, it is believed that kind people will be rewarded. Let us resolve it with kindness.' When I got home, I got a message from him. He said, 'I think what you said is right. We do not have to change ourselves even if we are encountering hardships. Haven't you said that Heaven knows everything? Thank you for telling me the truth. Let me tell you my real name because I want to be sincere.'”
A team member also impressed Ms. Chen. “One teammate was very introverted, but he never gave up. He was making a phone call one day, and the person was cursing at him. The person did not listen at all, he only cursed. However, the teammate thought that he should be responsible for him. On the fifth call to the man, it was like nothing had happened. He stopped cursing and agreed to quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations.”
“Hi, how are you doing? This is a free call from overseas...” Many practitioners worldwide are making calls. Whenever people learn the truth and choose to quit the CCP, the team is happier than those people, because they know that good people will have a good future.
