Additional Persecution News from China – April 26, 2013 (11 Reports)

(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in nine cities or counties in seven provinces. In this report, six Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 16 practitioner were illegally arrested.

1. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Guo Lihua Arrested
2. [Heihe City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Gao Dinglian and Ms. Li Min Arrested
3. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Mr. Wang Shenghua Held in Weifang City Detention Center
4. [Qixia, Shandong Province] Mr. Lin Guojin, Mr. Feng Yunxue and Mr. Yi Xueming Sent to Shandong Prison

6. [Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province] Ms. Xiongsui Fannu Arrested by Agents from Local Police Station 610 Office on April 25, 2013
7. [Benxi City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wang Xiuyan, Mr. Gang Zi and Mr. Gao Chong Arrested
8. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Sang Songlin's Home Ransacked

1. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Guo Lihua Arrested

Officers from the Kuiying Police Station went to the No.42 Middle School and arrested Mr. Guo Lihua on the morning of April 23, 2013. His home was also ransacked. Mr. Guo was released that evening.

2. [Heihe City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Gao Dinglian and Ms. Li Min Arrested

Ms. Gao Dinglian and Ms. Li Min were arrested at home by plainclothes officers on the afternoon of April 16, 2013. Officers confiscated over 1,000 copies of informational materials about Falun Gong.

3. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Mr. Wang Shenghua Held in Weifang City Detention Center

Mr. Wang Shenghua from Weifang City was taken to the Weifang City Detention Center by officers from the Weicheng Domestic Security Division on the afternoon of April 15, 2013.

4. [Qixia, Shandong Province] Mr. Lin Guojin, Mr. Feng Yunxue and Mr. Yi Xueming Sent to Shandong Prison

Mr. Lin Guojun, Mr. Feng Yunxue and Mr. Yi Xueming from Qixia, Yantai City were secretly sent to the Shandong Prison on April 16, 2013, by officers from the Qixia Police Department

5. [Benxi City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wang Xiuyan and Many Others Arrested

Officers from the Benxi City Police Department Domestic Security Division arrested many practitioners on April 25, 2013. So far, the arrest of Ms. Wang Xiuyan, Ms. Xiaoqing, Mr. Li Yan, Ms. Ma Xiang, Mr. Gao Gang and Ms. Li Hongyan has been confirmed.

6. [Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province] Ms. Xiongsui Fannu Arrested by Agents from Local Police Station 610 Office on April 25, 2013

7. [Benxi City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wang Xiuyan, Mr. Gang Zi and Mr. Gao Chong Arrested

Ms. Wang Xiuyan, Mr. Gang Zi and Mr. Gao Chong from Benxi City were recently arrested. They are being held in the Jinshan Police Station in Benxi City.

8. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Sang Songlin's Home Ransacked

Four officers barged into Mr. Sang Songlin's home on April 24, 2013. They broke into trunk chests and drawers, and confiscated all Falun Gong books, photos of Falun Gong founder Mr. Li, and over 10,000 yuan in cash bills with facts about Falun Gong written on them. They also confiscated a satellite dish.

9. [Leshan City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Zhou Lingjun Detained

Agents from the Qianfo Town Government, the 610 Office and the Police Station in Jingyan County, Sichuan Province barged into Mr. Zhou Lingjun's home on April 24, 2013, and took him to the Dashiqiao Brainwashing Center in Leshan City.

10. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Mr. Xu Xudong Sent to Brainwashing Center

Mr. Xu Xudong from Shiyan City, who was working in Wuhan City, was arrested by agents from the 601 Office and the Domestic Security Division in Shiyan City in the middle of February, 2013. He was held in the Yun County No.2 Detention Center. One month later, he was transferred to the Hubei Provincial Brainwashing Center in Banqiao Village, Wuhan City.

11. [Suning County, Hebei Province] Mr. Pei Wenhai Detained

Mr. Pei Wenhai from Fuzuo Village, Fuzuo Township, Suning County was arrested by officers from the Shisu Township Police Station for explaining facts about Falun Gong on April 18, 2013. He is being held in the Suning County Detention Center. His home was ransacked and all his Falun Gong books and over 3,000 yuan in cash were confiscated.
