(Minghui.org) May 13, 2013, marks the 14 th anniversary of World Falun Dafa Day and the 21 st anniversary of the introduction of Falun Dafa to the public by Mr. Li Hongzhi, the founder of Falun Dafa. On this occasion, Mayor Sally Faith of the City of St. Charles, Missouri, proclaimed May 13, 2013 as Falun Dafa Day Honoring Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance in the City of St. Charles.

Whereas , The city St Charles join Falun Dafa practitioners in recognizing World Falun Dafa Day on May 13, 2013; and
Whereas , Falun Dafa is a peaceful, spiritual practice rooted in traditional Chinese culture that consists of five gentle exercises including meditation, and a moral philosophy centered on the values of Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance; and
Whereas , Mr. Li Honzhi, the founder of Falun Dafa, introduced the practice in May of 1992; and
Whereas , Falun Dafa practitioners in Missouri note stress reduction, health improvement and spiritual growth; and
Whereas , Falun Dafa is practiced by many professional citizens of all ages in Missouri; and
Whereas , Falun Dafa transcends cultural and racial boundaries and contributes to the universal dream of a peaceful, tolerant, and more compassionate society; and
Now, Therefore, I, Sally A. Faith, Mayor of the City of St. Charles, Missouri, do hereby proclaim May 13, 2013, as “Falun Dafa Day Honoring Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance” in the City of St. Charles; and
