(Minghui.org) Police illegally arrested Nanjing City practitioner Ms. Li Jun when she posted informational materials about Falun Gong on May 5, 2012. Officials first held her at the Nanjing City Detention Center and then sent her to the Nanjing City Brainwashing Center.
Because Ms. Li refused to give up her belief, she was sent to the Judong Women’s Forced Labor Camp in Jiangsu Province for a term of 15 months in August 2012. This labor camp is notorious for persecuting, torturing, humiliating, and brainwashing Falun Gong practitioners.
Ms. Li’s family has appealed to the Nanjing City and Jiangsu Forced Labor Camp Administrative Bureau to release her. They have also exposed the crimes committed by the Nanjing City Police Department, Nanjing Detention Center, Nanjing Brainwashing Center, and the Judong Women’s Forced Labor Camp. In seeking justice for Ms. Li, they have urged responsible people and agencies to stop the persecution and compensate Ms. Li for the damages.
Ms. Li was born in May 1971. She was an English teacher at the Sisong’an Elementary School at Jianye District in Nanjing City. After she began practicing Falun Gong in 2009, her health problems disappeared within one month.
