(Minghui.org) Mr. Yang Wenqing, Ms. Qu Zebi, and Ms. Zhou Xulin were arrested in June 2012. They have now been sentenced to prison: Mr. Yang to three years, Ms. Qu to three years in prison with three years probation, and Ms. Zhou to three years with five years probation.

Mr. Yang, 50, works at the Kunming City Machine Tool Plant and lives in Lishutou on the East Renmin Road in the Panlong District, Kunming City.

Ms. Qu Zebi, 65, is retired from the Kunming City Telecommunication Office. She lives in Mingtongxiang on Beijing Road in the Panlong District of Kunming City. She was sentenced and served one year of forced labor beginning on October 28, 2002.

Ms. Zhou Xulin, 56, is a doctor of Communicable Diseases at the Kunming Epidemic Prevention Hospital. She lives in the Yuanding Community in the Panlong District, Kunming City.

Mr. Yang, Ms. Qu, and Ms. Zhou were arrested on Chuanjin Road by over ten police officers, including Qiu Xueyan, chief of the Xishan District Domestic Security Division, and Wang Zhongfang, at around 7:30 p.m. on June 27, 2012. The three were taken to the basement of the Liangyuan Police Station. Officers Wen Yongxian and Qiu Xueyan interrogated them. Wen and Qiu later stormed into these practitioners' homes and ransacked them, confiscating over 100 Falun Gong books, a notebook computer, printer, truth-clarification bills, DVDs, tapes, MP3 players, and MP4 players. The practitioners were handcuffed to chairs overnight. At 6:00 p.m. the next day, they were taken to the Xishan Detention Center. Ms. Qu was released on bail because of high blood pressure.

On November 12, 2012, Mr. Yang, Ms. Qu and Ms. Zhou were officially charged by the Kunming City Procuratorate.

On December 17, 2012, they were secretly tried at the Kunming City Intermediate Court.
