Free Falun Gong Class Makes Front-Page News in a Small Town in Germany
(Minghui.org) Falun Gong practitioners in Cham, a small town in southern Germany, once again held a free class at the end of November to teach the local people the Falun Gong exercises. The exercises introduced many Cham residents to Falun Gong, an ancient mind and body practice based on the universal principles of Truth-Compassion-Forbearance.
The local media have always been good about announcing the free Falun Gong classes. The front page of "Chamland-Aktuell” , the local newspaper, again carried details about the class and information about Falun Gong.
The people of Cham were eager to register for the class and were serious about learning the exercises. Feeling so good after doing the exercises, many wanted to know more about Falun Gong. Some wanted to bring their friends to the class, and a number wanted to bring their children. Everybody was looking forward to meeting again the following week.
Falun Gong is an advanced practice of Buddha school self-cultivation and was made public in China by Mr. Li Hongzhi in May 1992. It is based on the principle of Truth-Compassion-Forbearance. The five exercises exercises that are part of Falun Gong are gentle and slow, and suitable for people of all ages and all walks of life.
Millions of people around the world are practicing Falun Dafa. While it can take a true practitioner to high levels, it has played a positive role in stabilizing society and improving people's health and moral standards.
