(Minghui.org) Today's News from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 10 cities or counties in 8 provinces. In this report, 8 practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 11 practitioners were illegally arrested.

11. [Tianjin] Ms. Jia Mantao and Ms. Zhou Hongli Scheduled to Be Tried on November 20
1. [Wuhan, Hubei Province] Ms. Qi Lin Held in Brainwashing Center
Ms. Qi Lin was arrested by officers from the Wuchang Police Department on the morning of October 22, 2013. She is now in the Yangyuan Brainwashing Center.
2. [Shenyang, Liaoning Province] Mr. Sun Dekun Sent for Emergency Treatment As a Result of Torture at a Detention Center
Mr. Sun Dekun's wife and family had been looking for Mr. Sun from October 24 to November 6, 2013. On November 7, two police officers said that Mr. Sun was in the Shenyang No. 2 Detention Center.
The family later learned that Mr. Sun was actually in the Huanggu Detention Center from October 24 to November 6. He was tortured brutally and was in critical condition. He was taken to the No. 2 Detention Center for emergency treatment on November 7.
3. [Zhengzhou, Henan Province] Four Practitioners Arrested
Ms. Shan Qinxia, Mr. Li Yong, Mr. Li Yunfei, and Ms. Xia Suyin were arrested on November 15, 2013.
4. [Xinhuang County, Hunan Province] 610 Office Prevents Ms. Yang Fengmei from Studying Abroad
Ms. Yang Fengmei has been prevented from going abroad to study for the past several years by the staff at Xinhuang County 610 Office. They did not allow her to submit a visa application to go to Hong Kong to study in September 2009.
They also kept her from going to Taiwan to study in September 2011.
5. [Shenyang, Liaoning Province] Ms. Yang Manlu Arrested
After Ms. Yang Manlu was released, she was arrested and taken to Shenyang on November 7, 2013.
6. [Daqing, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Guang Haitao Arrested
Mr. Guang Haitao from the Daqing No. 3 Oilfield was arrested by the Security Bureau on the afternoon of November 13, 2013. His house was later ransacked.
7. [Pingdingshan, Henan Province] Ms. Liu Wenxia and Ms. Yang Hong Arrested and Mr. Guo Yong Missing
Ms. Liu Wenxia, who has lived away from home to avoid the persecution, was arrested on her way to work on the morning of November 12, 2013. She was taken to the city's No.1 Detention Center. Police ransacked her house on November 11, 2013. Her husband was home at the time. Her husband, Mr. Guo Yong, is now missing.
Ms. Yang Hong was arrested and taken to the No.1 Detention Center on November 13. Her house was ransacked.
8. [Huadian City, Jilin Province] Three Practitioners Sent to Brainwashing Center
Ms. Qin Cuiping and two other practitioners were arrested. Ms. Qin was taken to the Shahezi Brainwashing Center on November 16, 2013.
9. [Puer, Yunnan Province] Ms. Zou Qinpu Sentenced to Three Years
Ms. Zou Qinpu, 49, is employed at the Simao District Agricultural Bank. While she was putting up informational posters on the street the evening of June 21, 2012, she was arrested by police from the Simao District Domestic Security Division. That night, her home was ransacked. Her computer, printer, and informational materials were confiscated. She was sentenced to three years of imprisonment and is now in Yunnan No. 2 Women's Prison.
10. [Langfang, Hebei Province] Ms. Wang Yifang Held in a Brainwashing Center
Ms. Wang Yifang is 58 years old. After she was arrested on the night of November 4, 2013, she was detained in the Langfang Brainwashing Center.
Officers from the Xiaolangfang Police Station and Qinghe Street Committee went to Ms. Wang's house and ransacked it again. They took away a box of Dafa books.

11. [Tianjin] Ms. Jia Mantao and Ms. Zhou Hongli Scheduled to Be Tried on November 20
Over 20 plainclothes officers went to Ms. Jia Mantao's house on the morning of July 16, 2013, arrested her, and ransacked her house.
At 9:00 a.m. that morning, six to seven 610 Office plainclothes agents broke into Ms. Zhou Hongli's house and ransacked it. They took her cell phone, computer, printer, and informational materials. Ms. Zhou was arrested.
Ms. Jia Mantao and Ms. Zhou Hongli have now been detained for four months.
